Hundreds, if not thousands, of people have been inside Asbury University’s Hughes Auditorium since last Wednesday looking to strengthen their relationship with the Lord.

I recently heard someone speaking on the subject of REVIVAL.

As they spoke...they detailed a time in which they began SEEKING "revival."

Describing this "pursuit"...they mentioned they entered into a time of more intense and ongoing PRAYER...with a greater focus on REPENTANCE.

Yet...they continued on in "pursuit of revival."

Now...hear me...and pay close attention:

Their words ALONE expose the "agenda"...even if the one INVOLVED in this "pursuit" is UNAWARE of the DECEPTION within.

You see...REVIVAL is about bringing something that is DEAD back to LIFE

Revival is NOT a series of meetings...nor is it some "happening" where people gather because something "spiritual" is taking place.

REVIVAL is not about "unusual moves of God" that makes us "sense His presence"...services that make me "feel" something that "makes the hair on my arms stand up" or makes me CRY and/or SHOUT.

No.

Notice above the instance I recounted...specifically these words:

"Describing this "pursuit"...they mentioned they entered into a time of more intense and ongoing PRAYER...with a greater focus on REPENTANCE."

Folks...that in and of itself IS revival.

You see...what this person had been PURSUING had ALREADY been made SIGHT...yet...SADLY...they failed to RECOGNIZE it!

Thus...they CONTINUED to PURSUE something...something they had ERRONEOUSLY pictured as "revival."

We OFTEN will miss GOD when we pursue our OWN desires.

Folks...when people are focused on PRAYER and REPENTANCE...that IS revival.

If we believe REVIVAL is ANYTHING more...we MISS revival!

We now live in a day and time when REVIVAL is ill-defined...morphing into NOTHING more than a series of meetings where GOOSEBUMPS become "the Holy Ghost."

People PURSUE it...and TRAVEL just to "see it"...to "experience it."

MANY want to be STIRRED by SOMETHING...and they will EXHAUST themselves in PURSUIT of that STIRRING!

Notice the words of the Psalmist...as he defines REVIVAL:

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.....Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.....Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. (Psalm 51:1-3, 7, 10)

If you seek REVIVAL...don't MISS it when it COMES.

But most temples do that every weekend

No repentance no crying n begging for forgiveness n talking about changing ways no Fear of YH


Idk personally i wouldn't walk in to a crowded temple not knowing whom that temple truly belongs to I would have to see the fruits that it is producing the spiritual warfare is strong

This whole thing about their god is moving here n there it's very sad shows little discernment on those that claim this n shows how little time n how little they know the One n True Living Father
If they only understood that YH moves His children every day every hour,minute,n second of the day n night

He is our air we breathe He feeds clothes shelters protects us 24 7

He is moving all the time inside n outside us

This thing was a spark that has seem to set a trail blaze of false light I'm just seeing these "revivals" popping up all over

The6 had a prophetic camp type thing that came thru oklahoma a few months back people was just throwing money at man to learn to become a prophet or a better one

People are in different points in their walk with the Lord, and mostly due to the lack of knowledge.
False light? No, but one that shines because of Christ Jesus. There is no money gathering here that you would equate with the camp that made its way through OK.
Those camps were more frequent in times past, then now, but as you have seen they still happen.

I've always looked at the falseness/sin of the messenger, and wondered does not God use them also to reach those that are His to come to Him? Won't he also use those who are not His to punish those that are His if they need correction?

His instruments/tools are as varied as the number of stars in the heavens. Yet they all move/drive them to Him through His Son Jesus. So, it is with this Revival. Sadly, it's their lack of understanding, that they don't see that "Revival" is for the Believer, and not the unbeliever. How can you "revive" something that has never been alive in the first place and so it is for the believer to Repent, Recommit/Rededicate if you will themselves back to His Word, and the spreading of the Gospel!

If others see other purposes to this, it should be no surprise to those of us who read His Word and through the Holy Spirit find understanding therein. It speaks of those who hear, but don't understanding, for they are not of them who do. No different than Simon Magus in their belief/purpose.

So, don't be too hard on them who are lost, because they have not been alive to know any better. For their end will come and their punishment so agonizing that we'd not want that for them if the choice were ours. It hurts, painful, to see a seeking of those very same ones to what they know not, but He is there, if only they would see Him as He is and not as they want Him to be. For if possible, the World would even corrupt that which is incorruptible through Christ Jesus; God Almighty! Bless His Holy Name! \o/ Sadly, they continue to fall to the wiles of the enemy as many have since time immemorial. Still, don't discount how even this can be used to His purpose.

I'm not being hard just speaking the Truth this is a false light there's only one true Light
Satan spreads a false light that seems so beautiful to many they don't even realize they r sitting comfortably in n nor do they wanna see that one is in it

Ones feelings seems to b more important then the Truth of what is goin on

I seek counsel from YH on this not man man is just a breath in the wind n will lead one astray

We don't run amok in darkness to find movement of YH we have movement of YH every sec of everyday n until one realizes thus they will run too n from from here n there looking for the power Of YH
