Last time, we had a teenage program at my church, we usaully do in the morning, I didn't go at that time. A freind of mine told me that it was a prayer program and these guys came to pray for the kids. And she told me that they prayed 4 each of them. They were prayng for her and telling her that there was this thing scaring her, coming to her at night and stuff like. She told me that there was NOTHING like that. They also said that she was having problems with studies- she ranked 3rd from her class... they were telling othe kids to speak in tongues and everything...
Now I don't know if they were 4 real or not. Hers was definelty out of the question.
I don't know whether to comment or not. What do you think?

First pray on it. Sounds like they are more "show" if they are wrong more often then they are right. GOD gives the gift of prophecy to certain people and they will give you the proper answer FROM GOD not themselves. Sounds like these people *may* be off line and not doing what GOD has told them to do.

Always pray on such matters and leave it in GOD's hands. If He wants you to interfere or do anything, He'll surely let you know.

Please don't get me wrong. The men could be sincere and genuine in their prayers but just off (more than once as you have expressed) in their discernment or prophetic comments to that girl in particular. No man can tell you better than GOD after all.

"Words of Knowledge". as thoser utterances are called, are sometimes spoken by well-meaning people who think they are hearing from the Lord when, in reality, they are only hearing from their own imaginations. They are probably sincere followers of Jesus, so I wouldn't put them down. Such things can happen at meetings like that.

The Holy Spirit doesn't usually give a word of knowledge by speaking loudly in our hearts. It is usually a whisper and so, mistakes can be made; people can confuse their own thoughts with words from the Lord. Tell your friend not to worry.

My freind was bothered by this for like a week or so. I mean, she was asking her self "may be there is something that bothers me and I don't know it and stuff like that."
Anyway, my sister got this opporitunity (DV) to go to states and she went to church and the pastor told her that she got THAT aportunity and that she was going to make it. The thing she got was really easy to guess since it was those times when you fill the form but she really did make it and went to states.
The funniest part is I thought may be he was GUESSING may be not, I just have difficult time believing these things... and top of that, my freinds, well... Nothing will turn me away from God but this is just too much for new christians or Christians at the edge.
