Has anyone here actually read Satanic Verses? I have not as it doesn't appeal to me.

Whatever the reasons for it, this was an appalling act of violence against Rushdie, it is wrong to harm anyone. It looks like he is very badly injured.
The amount of trouble this book has caused to many people involved in the publishing of it, is surely not worth it?

Let us pray Rushdie survives and recovers.

It makes perfect sense. ISLAM is a satanic religious system that can ONLY condemn is victims to HELL, and Rushdie committed the ULTIMATE Offence - i.e. publishing a book that EXPOSES the satanic nature of the ISLAMIC religious system. It's a MIRACLE that the Islamic butchers haven't murdered him years ago. For the FOOLS investigating the incident, saying that they "don't know the motive" is beyond ridiculous.

Jesus' actions definitely were. But the RESULT of them was efficacious beyond measure.

EXPOSING THE TRUTH against satan's LIES is often suicidal. After all, a REAL Muslim would murder YOU (and me) without hesitation since we're "Infidels" - if we drew his attention..
