Once again the feeling has overshadowed me, overshadowed my reactions to things.
I just recently lost a friend and I keep having nightmares. Life is short, God made it so when humans sinned an awful lot:They still do.
I remember when I was three, my mum found me crying in the corner in my room. She asked me...
'Why are you crying?'
'Is it true that if you die in sin, you burn in hell fire?'
'well...yea.'
'I can't stop picturing myself burning...' I sobbed. My eyes red and saddened.

I felt that very feeling i had when I lost my friend and it got me thinking...I say i am not afraid of death, well, maybe i am.

There comes life and there comes death, when the chosen go home.I am worried...I hope I can make it.I am hysterical, I can't believe he's gone.He deserved a chance, evryone does.

I recently went to a site about death and was told mathematically that I have sixty years or less to live. Its so not tue, just one of those curious moments.God decides,he always does. I've always thought I'd die much earlier...wished I'd die much earlier anyway.

The thing about death is that you're not afraid of dying, but your human feelings kick in, you're afraid of leaving behind the ones you love,of not being able to watch your generations grow. It's a happier place we go to,sure, but, you just miss what you have.

You are only in shock of your friend's death, I think in your normal days, you're not scared. No one is here to stay, what once lived must die, but nothing is ever lost or can be lost in Jesus Christ, Keep walking with him, until you reach home.

That's a quote from GotQuestions.org
"For the saved, death ushers us into the presence of Christ. “To be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:8; Philippians 1:23). So real is the promise of the believer’s resurrection, that the physical death of a Christian is called “sleep” (1 Corinthians 15:51; 1 Thessalonians 5:10). We look forward to that time when “there shall be no more death” (Revelation 21:4)."

1 Corinthians 15

We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed--
in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.
When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."
"Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?"
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

Revelation 14

Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them."

“He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces.” (Isaiah 25: 8) He looked to some far away day when the redeemed would return to Zion. As to a resurrection or Heaven and Hell, little is mentioned in the Old Testament. At the very most, the righteous would get a rest and the wicked would never be remembered.

If anything, you should desire death, you'll be with Christ after that!
No pain, no tears, no lies, no suffering, no betraying, no brokenhearts!

Rejoice!

Hello iniesta

Good to hear from you.....However lift up chum, lift up. The bible says "He (Jesus) is the lifter of our heads" Amen. You know when the head hangs down for whatever reason, Jesus is the lifter of our head. All else may fail to lift us, but Jesus tells us He is "the lifter of our head" Something we all need at times.

Jesus said "I am come to give life......" This scripture goes on to say "life more abundantly" John 10 v 10.

But I speak to you today about/on the 'life' level, the 'more abundant' life level, is something for you to discover for yourself.

I read of your problems. You are overshadowed you say.......

Once again the feeling has overshadowed me, overshadowed my reactions to things.

I also am 'overshadowed' Yes I am 'overshadowed' by His Mighty love. Hallelujah. I recommend this overshadowing to you iniesta. It is wonderful, and it is for you

You have not informed us about your church attendance and life. So I am taking the liberty to advise you to get inside/join a lively fellowship of Christians. I feel sure they will be a blessing to you.

Life is short,
Absolutely, so move quickly in your relationship with Jesus, and leave the clouds behind

God Bless You......In His Love
