Scientists Dig To Hell?

I recently came upon this site where it talks about how scientists drilled a whole into the crust of the earth and heared 'the condemned souls from earth's deepest hole'.

"A geological group who drilled a hole about 14.4 kilometers deep in the crust of the earth are saying that they heard human screams. Screams have been heard from the condemned souls from earth's deepest hole. Terrified scientists are afraid they have let loose the evil powers of hell up to the earth's surface.

'The information we are gathering is so surprising, that we are sincerely afraid of what we might find down there,' stated Dr Azzacov, the manager of the project in remote Siberia.

'The second surprise was the high temperature they discovered in the earth's center. 'The calculations indicate the given temperature was about 1,100 degrees Celsius, or over 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit,' Azzacov pointed out. 'This is far more then we expected. It seems almost like an inferno of fire is brutally going on in the center of the earth."

'But after some adjustments we comprehended that indeed the sound came from the earth's interior. We could hardly believe our own ears. We heard a human voice, screaming in pain. Even though one voice was discernible, we could hear thousands, perhaps millions, in the background, of suffering souls screaming. After this ghastly discovery, about half of the scientists quit because of fear. Hopefully, that which is down there will stay there,' Dr Azzacov added."

I was wondering if anything in the bible talks about this?

I know of lots of people that are digging their way to hell and don't even realize it. Whether or not there is any truth to the article you found, I don't know.

I myself don't prefer the evangelistic method of scaring people out hell and into heaven(if that is even possible). I find that allowing people to be drawn by the power of the Holy Spirit to God's amazing love in Christ Jesus, much more glorious.

I dont think the sounds heard on those websites (both have been around the internet at least as long as I have) are anything more than demented hype produced by some imaginative and not quite sane person or persons

To whit I should add there is no 'drill' that could withstand the temperatures and pressures even a few dozen miles below the surface of the Earth, let alone the deep interior. (and that is the sum of my scientific knowledge lol)

You want to know if there is any truth to this article? Where do you go to find truth? The bible. In it we read... Mat 4:8-9 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

Satan came and tempted the Lord Jesus with all the kingdoms of the world. Two things to consider here. 1. Where was Satan? -- Here on earth. Walking on it, and among us. 2. How did Jesus respond? He didn't say, "the kingdoms of the world are not yours to give" did he? Nor did he say, "the kingdoms of the world are my fathers, not yours" No he says...Mat 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Seems to me that the powers of hell are already loose on the earth. And Satan owns the kingdoms of this world. How else could he offer them? Satan holds us in slavery by our sins. And our Heavenly Father negotiated our release. The price? His only begotten Son, Jesus. The perfect sacrifice (ransom). Mark 10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. (I added bold) AMEN! Thank you Jesus!

I heard something similar a while ago about a team (something like national geographic or something) that found a local in some remote place that told them that he know the "pathway to hell". they were intrigued and followed the guy down an old, deserted, closed off path.they went very deep down and aparently they also heard screams of pain and so forth. i remeber that they went back up and decided to get more equipment and sponsors and stuff so that they could go deeper next time. and that was the last i heard.
i dont know exactly what to think but the bible does tell us that there is a hell and that all who dont obey his commandments and belive in his son will go to hell- and i dont know about you guys but i know a whole lot of people who have died and looking at their actions, i dont think that they are going to heaven(not to judge them, but its true)-so i think that it can be true.

I would say look in revelations..I wouldent think so..but thats just me and im ill experienced to tell you anything.

Speaking about sounds on the internet, I could probably record myself moaning, run it through a filter or two, and come out close to "tormented person in hell".

As for hell being in the center of the earth, I don't believe it. I believe that you could drill from one side of the earth to the other, all over the planet, and never find it. This planet exists on a temporal plane. Everything that exists on, above, or within it shall pass away with the earth. Yet the Bible speaks of the unsaved as being thrown out into everlasting darkness, if memory serves. That is EVERLASTING darkness. If something lasts forever, then it cannot exist in our world alone. It has to exist somewhere else; beyond this world, galaxy, and universe. Look at the stars one night. They will pass. Look at the screen in front of you. It will pass. Look at the dirt beneath your feet. It too shall pass. If there exists an everlasting darkness and fire, and the Bible seems to say that there is, then it does not exist here: on, above, or below the earth.
