Satan has his best weapon always ready and constantly available all the time, to attack people of all ages. Boy's, girl's, men and women of all ages satan has his very best lure and he wants to trap you.
Unless you have your defense's up on full alert, satan's best trap is waiting and set for you. Over and over we read on TJ about more men than woman who are a slave to the trap of sexual addiction, that is so destructive, and leaves people so trapped begging for help. Often those who are addicted seem hopless, even christians.
1 Thessalonians 4:3-8 (3) "For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that is that you abstain from sexual immorality: (4) that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor. (5) not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God; (6) and that no man transgress and defraud his brother in the matter because the Lord is the avenger in all these things, just as we also told you before and solemnly warned you. (7) For God has not called us for the purpose of impurity, but in sanctification. (8) So, he who rejects this is not rejecting man but the God who gives His Holy Spirit to you." NASB 1994 updated
The natural intrest we have in our bodies is given by God. There are several really great books by Dr. James Dobson, one for boys and the other for girls, written for parents and adults with sexual questions. There is a book for men called EVERY MAN"S BATTLE. There are support groups, and sexual addiction Christian Counselors. There is help for anyone serious about getting their over the top sexual problems under control. But men are unwilling to get help until they get discovered or are found out.
Verse 4 is the area men fail at. They never learn to possess their sexual vessel and to control their desire. Unless a young man takes the serious responsibility of self-control of his sexual urges, the bride in his furture will be either greatly blessed or very unsatisfied. Unless a young man grows into a man who can control his sexual purity, in relationship with the Holy Spirit directing his sexual desires, along with keeping his eyes pure and away from immorality and pornography.
We live in a culture that capitalizes on every possible way to show any part of female anatomy to stimulate your interest in what every product could possible be sold with sex, from tires to cat litter. There in no way to excape from being exposed to something that reminds you of something sexual in nature. Depending on high you have climbed the sexual ladder of perversion and addiction, is in direct proportion to your following Jesus Christ. Perhaps, Jesus is once again calling you to return to His love and forgiveness, and to set you free from the trap satan has so well entangled and now imprisoned you in.
