Hello, nice to be here. In case anyone wonders about the screen name, my co-workers gave it to me while working in law enforcement, because I have a Grand Master rank in Raze, a self-defense martial art...as well as being a Christian minister. Because Shaolin monks from China were not only monks, but also secretly practiced martial arts for self defense, and later for the defense against invaders. Anyway, I have a Th.D. in NT Theology, was called by God into the ministry at age 19 through a vision, that was later confirmed four different times by different visiting evangelists at my home church (then in California). Since then I have written a number of books on different subjects, received ordination papers as a minister, and speak at churches about Ancient Near Eastern (ANE) covenants because after they were rediscovered back in the late 1890's and early 1900's, and thoroughly veted, that much needed information was never accepted by mainline denominations - specifically because when the NT is accurately observed as an ANE covenant by God's doing, subject to covenant principles, many of our doctrines have to be changed (if we are holding to false doctrinal statements) because the covenant gives boundaries to how the NT Scriptures are to be understood. Anyway...I don't want to start preaching, so I will stop there! Getting back for a moment to the martial arts, I have been in them since I was 16; started out in Kodenkan JuJitsu, from there to Tae Kwon Do, from there into Aikido, and once I enlisted in the Marines I got to travel and introduce myself to various forms of martial arts, such as Praying Mantis kung fu, Pa Kua, and various internal arts (meaning the attack points were not so much physical, but nerve points, meridian points, etc.), and those just sparked my love for martial arts. After having said all that, I came to the place where I had to set my love for those things aside in order to keep Jesus the primary love of my life. I still practice whenever I can find someone who is willing to learn. Blessings!
