Nashville-based artists Sheryl Crow and Amy Grant led a delegation Tuesday, lobbying Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee and state lawmakers to enact serious reforms following the deadly Covenant School shooting.

On a level, both are doing a good thing at pushing lawmakers on gun violence.
However, the very SIMPLE fact is that criminals do NOT care about ANY laws. More gun control laws only hurt the rest of us. It makes people weaker and people easier to harm or kill.
Facts:
Criminals WILL seek targets that are not/less defended. Convicted criminals even stated that "Gun Free Zones makes great targets.
Assault weapons do not exist. Weapons do but "assault" is an action and that's what a weapon's purpose is. In fact, almost anything can be used as a weapon and has at some point. No?
List: Plastic butter knife. Hands. Rope. Poisoned Kool-Aid. COVID. The list goes on endlessly.
The more of a population that is armed the safer it is. Our "government" doesn't care about us or the kids except to smother them with transgender ideology rather than arming staff at every school in America.
My own awesome state acted quickly recently and took that shooter out asap.
Our state motto includes FAAFO.

SO a good START would be to ELIMINATE "Gun free zones", since murderers much prefer their victims to be unarmed, and defenceless..
