I don't know where to turn!

Mat 13:15 for this people's heart has become gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and they have closed their eyes, lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them."
I just can’t imagine just how deep the sexual addictions are of those who profess Christ, and as a struggling addict for over 30 years, and being told I was ok, and going to heaven because God doesn’t care about my addiction, but more that I just believe in His son, who repented for me, took my wrath, and became my righteous substitute, so I can be assured all is well, even though every word of God says otherwise!
Here is one of many, many sad examples of what the false, liberal gospel is producing today:
Quote:
I'm a pastor who's addicted to Internet pornography, and I don't know where to turn.
Question
After months of trying to convince myself that I don't really have a problem, I've finally come to the point of realizing that I'm addicted to Internet pornography. What makes my case especially painful and shameful is that I'm a pastor of a local church. If anyone were to find out, my ministry would be destroyed. I don't know where to turn or who to talk to. Can you help me?
Here we have a supposed man of God, who is a leader of a flock, and is asking for help with his vile addiction, which proves he is under the strong delusion, and totally ignorant of biblical truth!
This is very painful for me to read as he was trying to convince himself he didn’t have a problem! And how did he come to this conclusion? Because he has been taught and probably teaches the saved In sin false gospel, promising him liberty while he is still in his unregenerate carnal mind! He may have been told from the beginning that he was born a sinner, and that Jesus took his place and wrath, so you can live as the devil, worship the devil, and be totally vile in your heart and ok with God!
He then goes on to say, if anyone finds out his ministry would be destroyed, what hypocrisy! He is more worried what his congregation will think over what God thinks! What a mess this is, a man who is head of a church, addicted to lust, but has no conscience as to what God thinks, only concern for him is losing his job, but no worries he can never lose his soul!
The word of God says otherwise:
Eph 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
Eph 4:19 For they, being past feeling, have given themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
Rom 6:13 Do not yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but yield yourselves to God, as one alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
Rom 2:8 But to those who indeed disobeying the truth out of self-seeking, and obeying unrighteousness, will be anger and wrath,
Rom 2:9 tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man who has worked out evil; of the Jew first, and also of the Greek.

1Co 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor abusers, nor homosexuals,
1Co 6:10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
2Pe 2:10 and especially those who walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise dominion. They are darers, self-pleasing; not trembling at glories, speaking evil.
Eph 5:5 For you know this, that no fornicator, or unclean person, or covetous one (who is an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Just a few verses warning of the dangers of this addiction, that are totally ignored by the professing Christian world, bent on a deception so strong, that the only hope for them is covered by a system of errors leaving the defiled still defiled, and unable to break free of their bondage!
Now the advice that was given to this so called man of God was to seek out a good counselor, and have peace because God understands your addiction, because you were saved in the act, and continuing the act has no bearing on your eternal destiny!
Can you see just how far off the mark professing Christianity is today? And how the poor sinner, born in sin excuse, leads to spiritual death! Man is not responsible for His actions, God understands, and in time he may come clean, but in reality will be a slave to his flesh as he has absolutely no fear of God, nor any real concept of biblical repentance!
But why don’t they listen to Jesus when He boldly proclaimed:
DEPART FROM INIQUITY!
GO AND SIN NO MORE!
FLEE SEXUAL IMMORALITY!
LET THERE NOT EVEN BE A HINT OF IMMORALITY BETWEEN THE SAINTS OF GOD!
THE UNRIGHTEOUS WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD!
REPENT OR PERISH!
LAY ASIDE ALL FILTHYNESS AND OVERFLOW OF WICKEDNESS!
KEEP YOURSELF IN THE LOVE OF GOD!
PUT THE AX TO THE ROOT!
COUNT THE COST!
BE YE PERFECT IN HEART AND MIND!
CUT AND PLUCK IT OFF AND OUT!
BE HOLY!
OBEY MY COMMANDS!
STRIVE TO ENTER THE KINGDOM!
CLEANSE YOURSELF, MAKE YOURSELF PURE!
I could go on, but you get my point here, I just hope and pray those who are caught up in this heinous addiction, realize they are in great danger of losing their soul, they are worshiping at the altar of satan every time they indulge themselves in this vile addiction, they have opened their soul to the most dark and perverse works of the devil, where simple counseling, or a focus group will do nothing but pacify their dead conscience, keeping the old man alive, but thinking they are safe, because they really don’t have to stop as commanded, they just have to make a small effort to hopefully do it less, because they are just a wretched sinner, saved by a foreign grace telling them God allows this vile behavior because Jesus covers them when they stumble into willful rebellion against Him!
The sad fact is that this is the normal behavior accepted far and wide by the professing Church, where repentance is replaced with counseling, holiness is replaced with profane addictions, purity is replaced with defilement, and anyone who comes along and tells them to repent or lose their soul, is evil, judgmental, hateful, unloving, and cast away as a heretic!
The great apostle Paul would not be welcomed in these liberal apostate churches, since they preach a different gospel, and could care less what Jesus and His apostles along with the early church and prophets taught about purity, and abstaining from sexual sin!
Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he also will reap.
Gal 6:8 For he sowing to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh. But he sowing to the Spirit will reap life everlasting from the Spirit.
Why not tell this poor soul along with the other multitude of pastors and professed Christians to repent as commanded:
Biblical repentance
2 Corinthians 7:10-11
10 For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. 11 For observe this very thing that you sorrowed in a godly manner: What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things you proved yourselves to be clear(pure) in this matter.
The way to the cross, is godly sorrow, not the sorrow of the world. Godly sorrow produces repentance (stopping the sin) leading to what? Salvation! Never going back to the sins of death, 1 Corinthians 6-9-11.
The sorrow of the world, leads to death, since the sin never stops, so then godly sorrow will produce: diligence in you,(the virtue of hard work rather than the sin of carelessness,) clearing of all wrong doing, what indignation(strong displeasure at something considered unjust, offensive, insulting, or base; righteous anger.)Followed by fear of God and His wrath, a vehement desire(Characterized by forcefulness of expression or intensity of emotion or conviction; fervid) a zeal and passion to do right and make amends if possible, what vindication(a means of exoneration from an accusation) you proved yourself to be clear(pure)of all known sin and disobedience before God.
This happens before forgiveness will be granted, because we have free will and ability, to repent, stop the sin, and obey God from a pure and undefiled heart, thus becoming savable, and broken, ready to receive the implanted word with a clean conscience, purified through repentance and faith proven by deeds!

Tommy061: This is a really ugly situation tou bring up. The real detestable issue is the counseling and affirmation of his ministry from the counselor and assurance of his saved condition. Sexual addictions are the result of satan's best and deadly traps. No one gets away without paying a price, and everyone that has anything to do with sex outside of marriage becomes satan's victim. In the Old Testament over and over again we see Godly men fall to sinful sex. King David was addicted to sinful attraction to women. God even called david a man after Hs heart. Today we see on TV many men in ministry fall to sexual sin's. For that matter it's not just men in ministry , but just men. Men who desire power often fall into stupid situations that destroy their job's, marriages, and children. Men will risk all they have or are for sex. Sex is a powerful stimulation that can control the brain of a very intelligent people and they can think of nothing else until the trap is sprung. Satan knows what is the greatest temptation that looks so wonderfully delightful, but in reality is deadly poison. Rat poison is 99% good food.

In the New Testament Paul tells us that each amn should have a wife and each woman is to have a husband to avoid immoralities. So basic to God's creating us, to love each other and to be sexual beings not only for pleasuring each other in marraige, but to bring about children. The world has so distorted marriage and the gift of sex in marraige. Today sex is considered to be a recreational activity, with whom ever, where ever the situation, and person is available. Most couple's outside of the church, getting married have already been sexually active. The same percentage is generally true for christians. Today we live in a culture that is so sexually energized that everything is sold by displaying more skin of women with little or no clothes. As christians we are to "run" from such sinful traps of the evil one. The men and women who think they can't be sucked in, unless they are covered every second of the day by the protection of the Holy Spirit, it becomes by the Grace of God we are protected. Any thoughts?

The way to the cross, is godly sorrow, not the sorrow of the world.

The way to the Cross is Faith! To believe! And total surrender to Him Lord Jesus Christ!

Humility amen!

Repentence is important of course... but we are not little gods as Pelagius and Pelagianism wrongly teaches!

And Pelagianism is not the Gospel!

The Almost-Delivered Man

The man has tried to obey the beautiful law of God. He has loved it, he has wept over his sin, he has tried to conquer, he has tried to overcome fault after fault, but every time he has ended in failure.
What did he mean by "the body of this death"? Did he mean, my body when I die? Verily no. In the eighth chapter you have the answer to this question in the words: "If ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live." That is the body of death from which he is seeking deliverance.
And now he is on the brink of deliverance! In the twenty-third verse of the seventh chapter we have the words: "I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members." It is a captive that cries: "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?" He is a man who feels himself bound. But look to the contrast in the second verse of the eighth chapter: "The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." That is the deliverance through Jesus Christ our Lord; the liberty to the captive which the Spirit brings. Can you keep captive any longer a man made free by the "law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus"?
But you say, the regenerate man, had not he the Spirit of Jesus when he spoke in the sixth chapter? Yes, but he did not know what the Holy Spirit could do for him.
God does not work by His Spirit as He works by a blind force in nature. He leads His people on as reasonable, intelligent beings, and therefore when He wants to give us that Holy Spirit whom He has promised, He brings us first to the end of self, to the conviction that though we have been striving to obey the law, we have failed. When we have come to the end of that, then He shows us that in the Holy Spirit we have the power of obedience, the power of victory, and the power of real holiness.
God works to will, and He is ready to work to do, but, alas! many Christians misunderstand this. They think because they have the will, it is enough, and that now they are able to do. This is not so. The new will is a permanent gift, an attribute of the new nature. The power to do is not a permanent gift, but must be each moment received from the Holy Spirit. It is the man who is conscious of his own impotence as a believer who will learn that by the Holy Spirit he can live a holy life. This man is on the brink of that great deliverance; the way has been prepared for the glorious eighth chapter. I now ask this solemn question: Where are you living? Is it with you, "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me?" with now and then a little experience of the power of the Holy Spirit? or is it, "I thank God through Jesus Christ! The law of the Spirit hath set me free from the law of sin and of death"?
What the Holy Spirit does is to give the victory. "If ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the flesh, ye shall live." It is the Holy Ghost who does this - the third Person of the Godhead. He it is who, when the heart is opened wide to receive Him, comes in and reigns there, and mortifies the deeds of the body, day by day, hour by hour, and moment by moment.

I agree far out good summation of what sexual addiction has done and is doing in the world and most of all in the professed Christian church, my thoughts are not of my own but from the word of God!

The churches today do not teach biblical repentance, judgement to come to the children of disobedience, curicfying thr flesh with Christ, and walking in newness of life, they are taught they can remain in these vile addictions plus other sins and still be saved, where the word says otherwise as I proved in my shocking article.

This addiction alone is leading many who profess Christ and those who dont, down the dark road to perdition, but most take this addiction lightly, blaming it on their false sin nature, over their lustfull choices, they come into the kingdom still defiled because some weak kneed preacher told them to say a simple prayer, NO repentance, No clearing, NO heart purity, etc,, but God will clean them up in time, meanwhile you are just a vile sinner, saved by grace, as God winks at your doubleminded condition!
I know my message are harsh, many hate them, and make every excuse in the book why then can sin like the devil, and still be saved, this is not in the Bible I read!
Yes it is an ugly situation, most brush it aside, but this is reality of what the lukewarm churches are producing today!

2Co 6:17 Therefore come out from among them and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing. And I will receive you
2Co 6:18 and I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

I am not a pelagian, just a follower of Jesus Christ and His truth, I do agree with his stance against original sin, which is a pagan teaching coming from Rome and Augustine! Sin is what you do, not who you are!

I read this and have been in prayer since you posted ..Brother the word tells us that satan will deceive even the elect if it were possible ..Brother you've been deceived ! The first thing you need to do is remove temptation .if you've a fire burn it so its no stumbling block to another you must disconnect any thing that will draw you back Elisha was called to ministry and burned his plows and killed his oxen so nothing would call him back ..ask The Lord to Forgive and place it at the alter...sexual sin is so often kept a secret and not dealt with because of the shame involved .but the word of God says to bring you're sins forward so the congregation can pray and healing can begin ...I'm as a minister my self proud of you and want you to know nothing can remove us from the love of God .Father I pray you begin to restore you're sheep that you may revive the Glory And prove you're word to be true .1 John 1;9. For if we pray and repent from our sins God is faithful and just to remove them never to be remembered .Lord you and only you can remove this seed from my brothers heart and mind Lord I claim healing in Jesus name ,Holy fire of God burn a new heart restore what the worm has eaten ....! I'm praying for you .as I'm sure all pastors are..know this you're not the only one .only the one that came forward . Rev. I also suggest you watch Fire proof it might help.

Tommy061: I think that some believe the situation you brought up, is you. They way you posted it reads like you ate talking about your self. I would suggest you post it in BIG BLACK letters that you were just posting about a case you knew of. That might help a lot. I read it over three times before I finally understood what you ment.

I can't honestly state twhat churches are or not doing. But you proberely are right about preaching repentance. As for the Lord's judgement it's not always visible, nor takes place in this lifetime. Honestly I am rather worn out hearing how bad things are in churches. I am retired, but no church I was pastor of would have tollerated some of the things I read that pastor's are preaching, not visiting, and preach just topical sernons.

When pastor's preach verse by verse until they have preached the whole book and go on to another, that is the best way to teach the Bible. No one can say the pastor was picking at me in his sermon. There is a real need for preachers as they preach book by book to look for key points to address things like divorce, repentance, sexuality and the christian's responce as stated in the Bible.

Unless when a sermon is preached there is direction to follow, or a expected responce given by the preacher people come in and leave the way they came. If men are not shown what the Bible say's about being pure and holy sexually, and how to court a woman with respect and looking out to respect her purity, then men and women do exactly as the rest of the immoral word does. Unless the church members are growing in the Word then they look for a pastor who is like they are.

The real issue id how do each of live our life. Are we men and women of God's heart or babies still sucking on spiritual milk. That is a choice we each must make. Blessings.

When you want to take a toy from a baby, you don't snatch it out of their hand, that will make them cry, and only want it back again. You offer them something better. Mere teaching, preaching and adjustments of outward behavior will not change anything as deep rooted as lust addiction. It requires a transformation of the heart that God will achieve by His Spirit over time and with cooperation from the believer. And then God will get all the glory not man. The best we can do for a person is encourage them to eat the right food, which is Christ through His Word. Only then will their heart be transformed to produce the right kind of fruit. There is the saying "you are what you eat". Things rooted deeply such as food and sex addiction require more than preaching and teaching and accountability.. this does not deal with the root issue. It requires the person to find something they can love and enjoy more than the food and the sex. These things are only substitutions for the genuine and greater enjoyment and satisfaction they can experience in Christ and fulfilling relationships.
