Should I lie?

I am a strong believe in God the Almighty.

I believe in right and wrong, and I believe that every innocent man and woman shall be free people, living in freedom and practise their own lifestyle as long as it doesn't hurt other people.

For this very reason I am the strongest opponent on earth of conscription. Not because I find violence wrong (it can be justified to prevent even more violence or oppression, so sometimes war is neccessary, without WW2, Germany would still be a nazi country, and the evil Soviet Union wouldn't have suffered so great loses that it crumbled and finally vanished in 1992. Its not because I am against military. It is because I am against oppression and slave labor or any other kind of forced labor for innocent civilians.

I live in a country in Europe where conscription is practiced. I find it morally wrong, as I see it as slave labor. Conscientous Objectors also do forced labor. I find this so wrong that I want to end this ****.

I, myself, didn't have to go through conscription, neither conscientous objector-labor, as I was deemed mentally unfit because of psychological problems.

But this doesn't stop me from thinking that conscription is wrong. I still want to end it. Actually I see it as my holy duty to do what I can to abolish forced labor for innocent civilians during peace time.

I have a plan, however I am very much in doubt wether this plan in itself is immoral. It involves lying. I know God doesn't like lying, but I also feel that God doesn't like forced labor for innocent civilians, especially not during peace time.

The plan is as follows:

I will publish a fictive (only I know it is only fictional) story about someone I know who is mentally unstable and suffers from anxiety, depression and mental exchaustion, but is nonetheless forced to complete his military service despite severe psychological problems, and is punished several times by his military commanding officers for not completing his scheduled tasks.

The aim is to make as many citizens in my country dislike conscription and eventually make people go to the streets and demand conscription abolished.

It is the only way I can eventually abolish conscription. There is a strong support in my country for conscription, so unless scandals do the job, conscription will remain in this country. Therefore this involves turning conscription into a (fictive) scandal.

Is it morally right to do so? Will God the Almighty punish me for this act?

God judges our hearts and thoughts. There is a difference between lying and using your discretion. If you look up lying in the dictionary you will find it is an act of deliberately trying to deceive someone in order to do harm to them, God knows what your intention is.

I can't answer for God and tell you that it is okay, but I can tell you what I think. God knows your intentions. If your lying is going to cause anyone harm (even the enemy) then I would say it's not okay. If the lie is intended to help someone without harming anyone else then I would think it would be acceptable.

Like I said though, I can't answer for God. Pray about it and get people to pray for you too.

I pray that God will give you wisdom and understanding and let you know His heart and His will. I pray that you will make the right decision. In Jesus Name.
