Each day gone by is one day closer to the day of Christ! We are in the age of Revelation. The end of times without question as you all agree and already confessed. The natural disasters is an obvious sign and let me tell you frankly anyone who denies it is nothing short of a blind fool.
Matthew 24:3-14
Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Yes, and there are people who choose one sin as worse than another and proselytize by accusation and threat. And there are those who receive Christ because of sudden recognition and fear of the Lord. Perhaps it is your evangelical call to warn others in this manner.
The problem remains that there are millions of unbelievers who are unfazed by both Bible prediction and verbal statements. Natural disasters and the ruination of cultures due to decadence and debauchery have been occurring for millenia. Rome fell because of immorailty; Sodom also was destroyed. Wars have overtaken the entire planet many times. Pestilence and famine have destroyed. Volcanic eruptions and earthquakes have taken out cities. The Old Testament is full of these catastrophes. They also abound in secular historical records
Now we are seeing these things overtly in the U.S.A. Other cultures may say, "nothing new to us; it's part of the scenery." Technology and media allow us to know of catastrophic events immediately.
In ages past, crusaders for Christ used Revelations as you - rightly so, it is part of the purpose of prophecy - to declare the imminent return of our Lord. Relative to population numbers in those past eras, the world appeared to be in the "age of Revelation" (not sure, Chad, if that is a Bible verse or your own expression).
"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night,in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up." (Revelation 3:10)
Scientists, both unbelievers and Christians, concur that the description agrees with what will happen when our sun goes nova.
Yet what is of importance for people of God?
Therefore, since all these things will be dissoved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. (Revelation 3:10-13)
We hasten to save souls.
I personally could be waiting for the Spirit of God to indicate that I am blind and foolish. I would then accept the label for what it is according to Him - whether it is a correcting rebuke or my being a "blind fool" for Jesus in His way that defies the wisdom of this world. There are Christians who would, in all readiness, love to see Jesus Christ return this minute, or at least in this life, so they can on earth see their revenge. I am not one of them. I am ready for my departure to Him every moment, but any human being's fall is never my gain.
I once heard a preacher - I think Chuck Swindoll on the radio - state that prophecy is not only to tell the future, it is to warn and teach for the correction of God. We see this with many of the Old Testament prophets. Revelations is extraordinary. The scriptural prophecies about and by Jesus are amazing and more than supercharged. And it is entirely for that "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."
