There is a simulcast event sponsored by I believe is the CS Lewis Institute and being given by Dr. Ravi Zacharias.

Topic: "Why Suffering?"

Two links (below) since one provides an overview of the subject "Why Suffering?" which I think might be something many might find some insight from watching or listening to however it reflects it as being closed. The other is a link to the Campus Church that will show it live on:

Wednesday April 22, 2015 from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM EDT

What the broadcast.
First I must say I hadn't seen Ravi Zacharias live since he was in his 50's! He has aged, but his spirit continues strong even at 69.

I was satisfied with the why if you look at how he tied the story of Job as an example of great suffering with God's responses to him. I related it more to not understanding that God does not see it as man sees it. He is not limited by the constraints that limit man.

Too often we see it through the pain and suffering of others. This is the time that rather than trying to figure out why such and such has happened. We just need to be there for whoever it is that is suffering. Sometimes it takes us to sit with them and cry along side them or place a comforting arm around them is really what is needed.

Understanding may very well be beyond our grasp to understand at this time, which is not what one wants to hear, but one we should and need to accept. For He is God and we are not. The latter comment might not be acceptable to some, because the world would not have you know an all powerful God, rather one that is flawed just like we are, which of cause is also unacceptable!

I will end by saying it was well worth watching. Much thought & prayers!
