Single Christians

Is singleness just a temporary condition that needs to be corrected with marriage or are there Christians who feel called to being single for life?

Not for life, cause I've been married, but for from now on yes.
My grandma was divorced and she could remarry, cause it wasn't her fault. The vicar asked her to marry him. She said: vicar, even if you decorate my house full with gold, never again!
