The eagle,this is not any ordinary bird!! A buzzard,a crow,and other such birds eat off of dead things. The free eagle does not! The eagle only feeds off of living things!! That is way the eagle in Isaiah 40:31 can soar!
Psalm 101:3 says I will set no worthless thing before my eyes! What is the Body of Christ setting before its own eyes?? The world on the T.V., the computer,even on the I phone, shows many dead things! Things that if we look long enough at them,we can become dead as well!
A child the other day,went out and killed his parents,and his little brother,when the police arrested the young 12 year old boy, they asked him, why he did this? The boy replied I played a lot of video games,and wanted to kill for real,to me I saw no difference!!
The child became dead inside,and so on the outside he showed this to others as well. We do, what we believe!( Psalm 1:1!!) How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked! WHY?? Because the more council we receive from them,the more we become like them!( mark 4:24)
Not only what we see,but also what we hear! A dear sister of mine,on her phone,every 2 hours gets a text message that comes over her phone. a scripture! Rom 8:37 She looks,she sees something living!! she reads out loud,( rom 10:17) she hears something living as well! This my brother ,sister,is what we need to do,many are depressed for one reason or another,but what counsel are we getting??
What are our eyes looking upon?? I turned on the radio in my car,I like oldies,the first 4 words that came on were,your no good,your no good, your no good,baby your no good!! WHAT??? What life is that?? I switched quick! Put in a C.D. What a Friend we have in Jesus!! ah that is much better, now I can drive to the store in peace!! You see?? May seem like nothing to you at the time,but the world gives counsel to us all through the day and night,if we let it!
Look for living things,eat that which is living to both your eyes and ears!! The more live things you partake of,the more living in Christ we remain!! And that is the whole point to DOING THIS!!
Some one asked I wish God we send me a text message on my phone.Well Bless God put it in your phone and he will!! LOL ( james 1:22) There are so many good brothers and sister out there,they love to hear the Word,but there is a part they miss out on!! DOING IT!!
Doing comes from what we hear and see,doing comes also by what we say to others,as well as hear from others! What are you looking at?? What counsel are you hearing by your so called friends? And what living or dead things are we eating?
When we look at all these things,we then can find out why we are the way we are. Halloween is upon us,see much living things in this? I sure do not,so I do not look at it. I see fear,worry,concern,and more of the same,in movies, on T.V. in newspapers. One just today said,Be scared to death!! A haunted house for all to enjoy!! ENJOY??? To some,they say well mark it is all in fun,get a grip!! Fun? Days later when one walks out at night,are they fearful for no reason?? And they do not know why?? What dead things have they been partaking of? For my brothers and sisters that which is dead, makes another the same,and that which is alive,makes another the very same!! alive!
Stay and be alive in Jesus! Eat his Word,look to his counsel.speak living to others through him. Do this,and you will soar like an eagle. I remember my very first car a ford duster!! LOl I changed the oil in that car every 3 months whether it needed it or not,I only put in the best gas, to make sure that car would run in tip top condition!! That is how we are to be to ourselves brothers and sisters!
We are what we eat,we become what we hear,and we do as we speak. WE ARE LIVING!!! So let us eat,and hear,and speak,as we truly believe we are in our Blessed hope!! Jesus Christ!! Our LIVING!!!! God!! For by this we season our words with salt, so we know how to respond to every living!!! person!! ( colossians 4:6) When we do this we can run and not be tired,we can walk and not be weary,because we are eating,what is alive in us!!Jesus and his Word!! So let us EAT!! and LIVE!! amen!
