Someone gave me a prophetic word/prophesied over me. What is the interpretation?

When I saw you I immediately had a sense that God had some things to share with you.. So here is what I believe I've heard in my heart from the Lord for you: (and by the way -- scripture says his sheep know his voice).. just so you know I'm tryin to be biblical -- also the scripture says" blessed is he who is not offended on account of me" -- in the bible Jesus is also called the rock of offense. Anyway - what I'm about to say is hopefully for your encouragement! and in no way do I hope you are offended.. I'm just wanting to make clear God is good at offending sometimes So here goes: I hear the Lord say that you are his daughter .. and he is jealous over you. So jealous over you that he has a controversy with some of the things that are after your heart. I sensed the lords anger towards the spirit of the age and other hindrances that keep you from true intimacy with him. I also saw a picture in my mind of a flower and this flower had petals missing from it.. as if something or someone had plucked them off. There have been wounding’s in your heart from relationships that has still made you feel like a flower missing petals at times. There is a scripture that says "even in laughter the heart may still ache" You are strong and are able to put on a face of confidence and joy but inwardly you ache at times.

I see God wanting to put his finger on your heart and bring healing. Sometimes God's methods of healing is to pull you out into a wilderness and teach you that its better to follow his lead into tough and heart revealing environments than to go back down to egypt(past, familiar ways) where complacency and compromise are familiar friends. I see your heart looking and searching.. but within your soul you have found little rest. You keep busy and I see that the enemy has a plan for you to remain busy. I see God's hand inviting you to a place of intimacy with him.. where you quiet your soul before him and allow his searching gaze to reveal within you all that offends him and allow his love to re-affirm who you are and what your true identity is in him. I also believe that God is calling you to leadership. I see someone who is floating.. but God has not called you to float, but to forge a path and burn for him. There is a subtle compromise that the enemy has sought to entrap you in because Satan sees the potential of your life and knows the call that God has upon you.

I want to encourage you that I really believe God is going to shake the ground you have been on but its not to cause your demise.. its for your greater awakening. I see a season of awakening where God begins to take a bit and put it in your mouth. Like a good Shepard he will restrain you because some of your own strength and your own strong will have lead you into places God has never said to go. I see his steady hand bringing you to a place of deep consecration.. and stirring. The scripture says there is an end to every dealing of God. This is good because sometimes God's dealings seam difficult and long.. but he is always good and he has the best in mind for you! Anyway.. I know I'm taking quite a bit of liberty in saying all this.. but there is a whole Lot God has for you.

God has touched your life -- but there is great warfare over it. I know you sense it at times.. but in some regard you have become dull to the warfare.. in other words I really see that the enemy has beat you down with some feelings of inadequacy and insecurity... and you have looked within yourself and to others for your affirmation. God wants to push the reset button in your life and bring you to such a true place of awareness that Christ is your life. That he is your all in all. --You will have to begin to say no. No to your own soul (mind will emotions) so that you are not governed by it any longer. The spirit of God will begin to rise in you and you will know true power, and authority. Your rollercoaster of emotions and restlessness will begin to be replaced by his peace and Joy. You seem like an awesome girl.. and I hope you don't get from me that I'm judging you in anyway.. cuz that is not my place, I just want to be obedient to what i sensed God saying.. To sum it up.. you are in a transition season.. and if you allow God to have his way- he is going to shake some things in your life right now but it is for your good! There is no interpretation. What is being said about you is either true or it isnt, and only you and God would know the answer to that. This being said, it sounds like the person is saying God has plans for you, but God has plans for us all IF we are willing to search for that plan from GOD (so thats not really prophetic). Second, the person says you have too much of the ways of the world in you, and that God will shake up your life to make you give up your worldly ways (we all fall short of the glory of God, even the person who said this to you falls short). This might happen, it might not, but it doesnt make that persons statement to be for a fact from the Lord to you.

In short.... it really doesnt matter what this person said. You should, regardless, try to be less worldly and make your relationship with Jesus more true and faithful. Problems happen to us all, and if more problems begin happening to you, it may be a message from God to you, and it may be just normal problems that occur in the fallen world we live in.

Some people tend to think they have a direct phone line to the throne of God, and hear things from Him to tell others all day long, every day. Sometimes God will reveal something about another person that I need to know, but 99% of the time I'm supposed to keep that to myself and not say it to anyone at all, but just keep it in the back of my mind. God can certainly use another human being to speak prophetically into your life. The most significant things other people have spoken into my life, that I believe were from God, were spoken when that person had no clue what they were saying was ministering to my heart. When someone comes to me and tries to be the Holy Spirit for me, I'm usually very very weary of that. I've seen this lead to incredibly bad places way too many times.

Amen to the above...this is a generalized prophecy that can encompass any believer because we all struggle somewhere in our sanctifying walk with Christ. If she/he had given a specific word of knowledge that was actually happening in your life at present, then I would certainly take it as a Word from the Lord to me personally....but as it stands. I would take the good from it and let the rest go...1 Thess 5

9 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not treat prophecies with contempt 21 but test them all; hold on to what is good, 22 reject every kind of evil.

1. Test the spirit
2. Anything that contradicts the Word at all, is not from GOD / Holy Spirit.

4 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. Hello Jessica,
To be truthful this could be said to any believer in Christ.
It would seem that God is simply letting you know that He does have great and awesome plans for your life. It wont come easy and it wont come if you go after Him half heartedly.

You will have seasons in your life.......some of pruning and molding and removing things of you that does not line up with who your are in Christ. You may see other ways or be told of other easier ways by others to go but stay true to the path He has for you.
Now when you feel the prickling of His hands as He deals with things in your life.........don't run or hide or push Him away. Let Him deal with what ever He wants when He wants and how He wants. He may bring up things you have tried to push away but they are never gone until the Lord God Him self makes them gone.

If you will follow His lead and not get weary He will engulf you with His spirit more then you ever dreamed of. He will bring you to a brand new level or revelation knowledge of who He is and How much He truly Loves you. In all of this you will have wounds healed and in short.........created a new heart in you, and renewed a right spirit in you.

You Jessica have come to a cross road.. One goes His way and the other your way. His way is best but not always the easiest but in the end the best choice you could ever make. You much choose His life or your life....His ways or your ways....the choice is yours.
Humble your self unto His Love, Mercy His GRACE....He will carry you through this IF YOU ALLOW HIM TO. Total Trust.....in Him in all ways and always.....

Sister, when someone gives you a Word from the Lord, it should only be something you already knew, and it would just be a confirmation to it. Prophesying on the other hand dose not always mean telling the future, it is a means in which to encourage, and comfort it's hearers. We can all prophesy one by one in the Church.

1Cor 14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
