Some people, on this site, wanted to know how to treat with specific persons; for example, LGBTQ+ persons. Everyone seems to have a different take on the situation. Some people say that LGBTQ+ persons are born that way, and others say it doesn’t matter, just love them and let them live their lives. I agree with the “we should love them” part. Some people say that the LGBTQ+ lifestyle is a sin, and others say it is not. When I asked God for His take on the situation, He reminded me of this one profound truth: He created us, so we have to trust Him, in spite of our own human experiences. That brought an even deeper question to mind - since we’re currently in a fallen state, can any of us really hold our own experiences as the ‘gospel truth’? It breaks my heart when we try to define or redefine what sin is, and what it is not. Sin is any act that separates a person from God (Isaiah 59:2, KJV). I assure you, God isn’t busy debating with His angels whether an alcoholic, or an abusive person, or an idolater, or a sexually immoral person was born that way, or nurtured that way. God is a ‘bigger picture’ kind of God. He’s more focused on how He’s going to save us from sin.

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Proverbs 14:12, KJV). Read it three times for emphasis….

THIS IS MY PERSONAL TESTIMONY: Some years ago, I fell in love with a man. He said that I was the love of his life. My parents, on the other hand, wept. They warned me about the relationship. You see… I am their only daughter. They love me a lot. They said, “Please, Kay, leave this man alone. He will hurt you, and then he will use you. Trust us!”. I cared for this man a lot. We shared so many significant experiences together, so I thought that if my parents just got to know him, they would accept him. While the man was busy showering me with affection, my parents pleaded with me even more. They even reached out to my church to speak to me, and I was very angry with them for that. I was angry with my church too. Eventually, there came a time when the man began to make a lot of demands in our relationship, but when I couldn’t quite meet those demands, he began to hate me, and his hate intensified towards me. I was confused, so I tried to pacify the situation, by being gentle with him. But he wasn’t having any of it. When things got fully out of control, I ran back to my parents. They scolded me, then they embraced me. This isn’t a made-up story. These events really did happen. I just need you guys to understand something…in the beginning of that relationship, there were two opposing views: I thought the man loved me, but my parents knew he did not. Parents don’t always get it right sometimes. They’re only human. But substitute my parents with God. He is perfect. Now, I’ll ask you this earnest question…. since when is our God in the business of lying to us?

Take a journey, back into the past, with me. How far are we going? Well, we’re going back to the beginning, of course. Back to where it all began… Genesis. Let’s look at the scene where the serpent is tempting Eve in the garden. He cleverly twisted God’s words and Eve’s interpretation of God’s words, and then he deceived her. Then Eve looked at the fruit and saw it was good. She took it, ate it and offered some to her husband, Adam. Do you know what I would like to know? Why didn’t Eve say this to the serpent? - “Yes, this fruit DOES look good, but God told both my husband and me– if you eat the fruit, you will surely die. Now, listen here, serpent! I know God. He created both my husband and me. So, I trust (aka faith) that He wants what’s best for us. I know God, but I don’t know you. Get the hell away from me!”. When we read Genesis 2:17 (NIV), it goes: God said, “But you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” What happened after Adam and Eve ate the fruit? Well, they got kicked out of the garden, then they lived a hard life outside of the garden, then they died. Did God lie to them? No. Unfortunately, throughout the course of human history, it seems to me that God is the one who keeps getting the shorter end of the stick. Think about this for a second - whenever God issues a command, He always informs us about the consequences beforehand; not after the fact. What I learned from this simple truth is that God is honest at all times. He’s unable to lie.

Okay, let’s leave the book of Genesis and jump ahead a little. Where are we going? Well, we’re going to visit our good friend, the apostle Paul. Now, before I take you to specific verses that Paul wrote, I want to take a few seconds to share some interesting facts about Paul’s life. The apostle Paul (originally named Saul), was born a Jew in Tarsus. He was present when the Jews stoned Stephen to death. While on the road to Damascus, (in pursuit of Christians), Paul had a supernatural encounter with Jesus Himself…but that encounter left Paul blind. But his sight was restored three days later by a man named Ananias, in the city of Damascus. Paul was then baptized, and through this experience, Paul received the Holy Spirit, who helped Paul to develop a personal relationship with God. So, immediately, Paul began to proclaim that Jesus is the messiah and the Son of God. I need you guys to remember everything you just read about Paul. It’s super important, okay. It will come in handy later. Anyways, three years later, Paul met the apostle, Peter, then eventually Jesus’ brother (James), and was henceforth recognized as the 13th apostle.

Now, I’ll tell you something about these apostles. These men were the “original gangster unit” for Christ. They were proxies of God, and they were serious defenders of the faith. They could not afford to slip up when it came to representing God’s Word, because God Himself would hold them accountable for it on judgment day. Apostles were not there to minimize God’s words or contradict it. Their main role was to serve as messengers of God, and to travel to distant lands, preaching the gospel as a means of establishing churches there. By extension, this required them to speak God’s truth, and to do so at all times. Remember that, okay! The apostles successfully accomplished their role, and they were not afraid to die to uphold God’s truth. In fact, all of them (with the exception of John the apostle), died gruesome deaths because they chose to preach God’s truth. They were unafraid, since they knew Jesus was waiting on the other side, to embrace them for their commitment to Him and His Word. Guys, you need to remember everything I said about Paul. Go back and read his testimony again, if you need to.

Have any of you guys ever read Paul’s letters to the early churches? Doesn’t he come across as harsh in a lot of his letters? Yeah, he does. But I am here to reassure you that his admonitions always came from a source of love and God’s truth. And why not? The man deserves all bragging rights, because he has been beaten multiple times by mobs, shipwrecked at sea, shipwrecked onto foreign islands, imprisoned, slandered against and killed for speaking God’s truth. Have any of us gone through all of these disasters, while upholding God’s truth? No? Then we haven’t earned the privilege of misinterpreting and misrepresenting God’s words. Don’t kick or boo me off the stage, just yet! Permit me to continue speaking. It will be worth it. I promise! Thanks.

Now, check this out… I’m going to insert a couple of verses that most people don’t like to read, because they sound too harsh. But I always tell people, God would rather chastise us, than watch us destroy ourselves. Just remember the key points you read earlier on. Go back and read all of it again, if you must. Copy and paste it into smaller parts, and then share it with others, because it seems as if we’re sometimes forgetting the God we serve, in an attempt to do things our own way.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (NIV)-

(9) Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men. (10) nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. (11) And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

It’s almost as if history is repeating itself all over again. Remember what happened in the garden of Eden? We need to remember, because we sometimes forget our spiritual history. In the garden, God gave Adam and Eve a very specific command. Then beforehand, He told them what would happen if they broke His command. The serpent deceived Adam and Eve. The serpent may go by many other names, but he is the great deceiver himself! (Revelation 12:9, KJV). What was the penalty for disobeying God? Adam and Eve were cast out of God’s presence, and eventually they died. Read Genesis chapters 2 and 3, AND 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 at the same time.

In 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, God gave Paul a very specific message to deliver to the churches. God shared these truths with Paul, then Paul shared God’s words with us. God is incapable of lying, and an apostle’s main role is to uphold the words (or truths) of God. Similar to the events of Genesis chapter 3, we read in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, that the apostle Paul is warning us to not be deceived. Who has been deceiving mankind since the beginning? Satan, the deceiver himself. Let’s fast forward a little. In 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 God states a command, which is followed by a consequence. God tell us to not be deceived. That is the command. Then, He states that wrongdoers, like the sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who have sex with men, thieves, the greedy, drunkards, slanderers and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God. In other words, such persons will be cast from the presence of the Lord. Is that the end of God’s instructions to Paul? No. God offers the hope of redemption and salvation, through our Lord Jesus Christ. In 1 Corinthians 6:11, it is revealed that some of Paul’s audience used to engage in these aforementioned lifestyles. So, the question is, who or what changed these people’s lives? Paul says, “But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:11).

Does everyone here remember what Jesus, our Lord, did for us on that cross? What He did on that cross was no simple feat. He died a very excruciating death for me, you, and our loved ones. Please don’t minimize the significance of what He did on that cross. Please, don’t tell your friends and loved ones that because of God’s commandment to love each other, we can now love anyone, according to the desires of our own hearts. Matthew 12:36 states, “I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment”. Rather, tell them that because of God’s love, He wants to free us from the lies of the deceiver, and through Jesus, He wants to demonstrate to us what perfect love looks like, and through the Holy Spirit, He wants to teach us how to express that love in righteous ways.

I’m going to say something that will anger some, and hurt others. But what I say comes from a source of God’s love and His Word. Those who feel angry, will feel angry because they aren’t ready to receive God’s truth yet. But those who feel hurt, will feel hurt because they know that what I’m saying is God’s truth. So, here it goes…sometimes, some of us, (including me), have unknowingly been doing the work of the deceiver. Yes, I was also deceived, so I can speak from experience. Read 2 Corinthians 11:14 (KJV) with me. It reads, “for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” Read it over a couple of times, because this is another important truth from God, that God shares with Paul, then Paul shares it with us. Let me expose satan’s character to you, right now! Satan loves to imitate God. He also loves to separate us from the God who created us. He loves when we rebel against God, and he will go through extraordinary, backbreaking lengths, just to get us to doubt and rebel against God. Satan enjoys deceiving us. He loves to manipulate our emotions, simply so that he can introduce false teachings into our hearts. He loves when we question God’s authority and God’s sincerity in our lives. He loves to impersonate God’s love, then teach us false concepts about his version of love. Satan provokes us into viewing God’s character in a negative light, while beautifying his own. I’ve seen him deceive individuals, families, communities, and even entire churches.

Now, let me tell you about the character of God. God actually loves us. That’s basically it! Simple and straight to the point! God loves the apostle Paul. So, He couldn’t leave Paul to die in spiritual ignorance. But instead, God revealed Himself to Paul; firstly through our Lord Jesus Christ, then through the Holy Spirit. When Paul became filled with the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit influenced Paul in a deep, intrinsic way. Has this ever happened to anyone here? If it hasn’t happened to you yet, and you want to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life, then pray, fast and read your bible. Ask God to minister unto you. Ask Him to reveal Himself unto you, through His Holy Spirit. Ask Him to help you to discern Him from other spirits.

Some persons will tell me that their loved ones; who are LGBTQ+ persons, aren’t living in sin, and their loved ones aren’t separated from God. In fact, some persons will tell me, “Kay, I’m a devoted Christian, and I’m an LGBTQ+ person. Some of my best friends and family members are LGBTQ+ persons too, and we’re all very spiritual. We’re spiritual to the point where we can even walk on water. You’re just talking a bunch of nonsense when you’re saying that my loved one’s actions are sinful, and that they are separated from God! Kay, I don’t know what kind of snake oil you’re selling these people, but I’m not buying it!”. Then, I’ll patiently reply, “Thanks for your contribution to our discussion. Can I get my mic back, please, so that I can reply? Thanks. Okay, so I’m also friends with LGBTQ+ persons. One of my best friends is gay. I’m also friends with a mature gay man who lives a permanently, celibate life because his spiritual journey has brought him to that point. I understand that everybody’s circumstances are different, and I certainly don’t have the authority to play judge, jury and executioner. I believe that the term, ‘sin separates us from God’ also speaks about an event which will take place on judgment day. So, yes, we may think that we’re living our best spiritual life now, but if we’re engaging in habitual sin (whatever they may be), and we haven’t repented, and we don’t live by faith, and we don’t allow God’s Holy Spirit to renew us spiritually, then on judgment day, we all run the risk of being permanently separated from God. We run the risk of being cast out from His presence, yet again. Unfortunately, someone is already selling us snake oil, but it’s not God, and it’s not me.” That’s exactly what I would tell them, word-for-word.

I’m certain that the Holy Spirit has reveal Himself to some of us, and He has transformed our lives in the most prolific ways. The transformative power of the Holy Spirit happened to me only after I developed a personal, intimate relationship with God. The Holy Spirit told me that the enemy is attacking my faith daily, and that’s why I need to seek out a personal relationship with Him. God told me that I needed to refresh my mind and spirit by reading the bible regularly. God also encouraged me to fast. The Holy Spirit actually wants to guide us to understand many things in life. God reminded me of a sad reality. He told me that some unbelievers know more about the bible than some members of the church. Even satan himself knows the bible cover to cover, and he tried to use his biblical knowledge to tempt Jesus in the wilderness. Some unbelievers (who know biblical knowledge), don’t believe God’s words, yet they will use that knowledge to argue facts with us. But guess what? At least they know it (or some version of it). So, we need to know it too, cover to cover. Over a period of time, the Holy Spirit has helped me to reshape my spiritual identity. It’s an ongoing process. In the context of 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, God can also do the same for people engaging in fornication, adultery, idolatry, homosexuality, and alcoholism etc. He did it then, so He is more than capable of doing it now.

So, how would I minister unto persons engaging in fornication, adultery, idolatry, homosexuality, alcoholism etc? I’d simply share God’s truth with them, and I’d share it with love. I’d tell them exactly this, “I care about you, and my love for you prevents me from lying to you. God loves us all, and He showed us His love by sending His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us. Jesus died so that we wouldn’t feel the sting of eternal damnation and separation from Him. He died to reconnect us with the Father. Jesus loves you so much. He hurts whenever He sees us hurting ourselves and others. He doesn’t want to leave us in our sins. Because of what Jesus did for us, we are offered the gift of redemption and salvation. I want to encourage you to develop a personal relationship with God. Read your bible regularly. If you don’t have one, I’ll give you one. Pray, fast and seek God’s guidance, through the Holy Spirit. The road will be filled with challenges, but God will always be with you to help you overcome them.”

Aside from addressing their spiritual needs, I would address their practical needs, as well. For example, if the person is a habitual fornicator, I would put them on to a support group for persons with sexual addictions. If the person isn’t a habitual fornicator, but is known to fornicate, I would still put them on to a supportive church environment, which would nurture healthy spiritual developments in that person. If the person is an adulterer, then I would connect them to an experienced marriage counselor. If the person is an idolater, then I would connect them to a good church. If the person is an LGBTQ+ person, then I would put them on to an LGBTQ+ person who overcame the lifestyle and who is actively reaching out to others who want to overcome it as well. If the person is an alcoholic, then I would put them on to a good Alcoholics Anonymous support group. You won’t reach everyone, but please, reach out in love. Don’t let fear of rejection prevent you from reaching out. Also, under no circumstance do I stop praying for the people in my life, because I would want them to pray for me too. In all things, seek God’s guidance before ministering to others, regarding God’s Words.

Some people have told me that they aren’t sure if God can help them to overcome their sinful habits. I tell them, I serve a very powerful God, and He is more than able to help them! God started that process in Paul, the apostles, and the early churches, so He is able to do it in this present time, as well. My God created the heavens and the earth, and everything therein, in 6 days. He promised a very old man (Abraham) that his barren wife would bring forth a son, and that through this son, his descendants would become as numerous as the stars in the sky. God fulfilled His promise. He never lies! My God brought the Israelites out of Egypt and parted the Red Sea for them. He led the Israelites through the wilderness. He delivered Daniel from the lion’s den. My God is able to cure any illness and disease. He has the power to subdue demons. He has full authority over life and death. He created life and He can raise the dead. Yes people, we serve a very powerful God who can actually raise the dead, back onto life again! My God is omnipotent (all-powerful); omniscient (all-knowing); and omnipresent (everywhere). So, of course He is more than able to help us to overcome our sinful habits. Don’t forget the God you serve, or His power and authority. Set Him as the authority figure over your life. Remember your spiritual history.

Don’t give up! Be ye Spirit filled. God wants you to fall in love with Him all over again, just like when you fell in love with Him for the very first time. Seek a personal relationship with Him. Read your bible. Pray. Fast. Encounter Him. Let Him teach and lead you. He wants to. Then share Him with others. Read this entire message again, but this time, listen to the song below on repeat, while you read it. May God guide and keep you on your spiritual journey. God bless!

  • You can start by supporting the growing movement of the LGB wanting to separate from the Alphabet people. Many tweets by the LGB giving valid reasons for the break.
  • Fact. No one is born any way. Everyone is blank and given too many variables to list Nature AND nurture affect how we end up. Even then a person is at least 3 persons during their life: Child. Young Adult. Older Adult
  • It does matter. God has zero tolerance for sins. Jesus loves the sinner and hate the sin. I know some might call that a cop out but that's directly insulting Jesus as it's exactly what He did.
  • It is a sin. The Almighty who is the Creator, Judge, and Authority in all things has said it. If He goes out of his way to call something an "abomination" it is and anyone's opinion on it is irrelevant. You follow ALL of God or not at all.
  • It's easy to define sin. All fall under Seven kinds. No they are not equal but they are in leading to death and eternal separation from God. Again, they are NOT the same.

Don't take this the wrong way but all too often women "believe" men when they say such things. Love without actions is worthless. I hope what time was good learning for you. I wasn't the best husband nor was my Then-Wife a good wife so our divorce was both our faults. Her cheating while I was deployed those years ago was all on her and no way we could save it.
Too many people are not taught how to infer information. What is said and not said. What is heard and not heard. What is seen and not seen. God set the human standard with Adam and Eve.
One man to one woman married for life and a biblical command to have children. That alone shows that LGB and T+ is 100% a sin. No Christian can be LGB or Alphabet person.
This "God loves you." is misunderstood. God loves Satan but that's not going to negate his actions nor get him into Heaven. God and Heaven has rules, walls, and a strict immigration policy. Don't follow the rules then those "people" will gladly walk into Hell giving God the finger.
We have every right to call out false teachers and false Christians.

They can be Christians still when led astray into believing it is okay rather than asking Jesus Christ to deliver them from their sins. If you consider that they know the gospel and believed in the Lord Jesus Christ & that God has raised Him from the dead, then they are saved, BUT they are not free of their sins when they are not abiding in Him and His words as His disciples yet.

John 8:30 As he spake these words, many believed on him.
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

When you address any believer living in sin or practicing sin, you do not resort to preaching the gospel to them when they already know it. You correct them by scripture warning of the consequences for not abiding in Him as His disciples which is to wind up being left behind when the Bridegroom comes thus there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth for not being partakers of the firstfruits of the resurrection. Now although like the prodigal son that gave up his inheritance for wild living and can never get it back, he will find that he is still son in spite of the wild living; thing is those left behind or disqualified to attend the Marriage Supper in Heaven, God will have to wipe the tears from their eyes to get past that loss of their first inheritance as there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth which means they will feel that loss for why God has to wipe the tears from their eyes to get passed it.

This is where the east comes from that are part of the kingdom of heaven for breaking the least of His commandments and teaching others so per Matthew 5:19. This is where the vessels unto dishonor comes from that are in His House, the vessels of wood and earth as they will be resurrected after the great tribulation to serve the King of kings on earth which is a whole lot different than being vessels unto honor, vessels of gold & silver, received by the Bridegroom at the rapture event.

This is why even former believers are called to go to Him for help to discern the lies and the truth in His words so they too can lean on Him to depart from iniquity so they can be received by Him as vessels unto honor in His House 2 Timothy 2:18-21
This "God loves you." is misunderstood. God loves Satan but that's not going to negate his actions nor get him into Heaven.
Having trouble thinking of any scripture that says God loves Satan when he has already been condemned, as one day, he will be cast into the lake of fire..
God and Heaven has rules, walls, and a strict immigration policy. Don't follow the rules then those "people" will gladly walk into Hell giving God the finger.
Only those that never have believed in Jesus Christ remain in that original sin that has them already condemned for not believing in the name of the Son of God per John 3:18
We have every right to call out false teachers and false Christians.
We have the right to call out false teachers, but to say he is not a brother or he is a false Christian, is misleading and not the truth for then we would be denying the Lord that bought them that profess to believe in Him.

Again, when it comes to false teachers or a brother no longer walking after the tradition taught of us, & are disorderly, we are to correct and if still unrepentant, withdraw with the Lord helping us to do that per 2 Thessalonians 3:1-7 and we do this not to treat them as the enemy, but to admonish them as brothers still 2 Thessalonians 3:14-15.
Joel Osteen and his "wife".
He does fall under the category of preaching riches as godliness, but that is not to say the Lord could not lead him to repentance before his death or before He comes as the Bridegroom.

1 Timothy 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
13 I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Joyce Myers who has started selling Bibles with her NAME on the cover.
She also believed that the Holy Spirit came over her later in life bringing tongues as a sign of God calling her into the ministry and yet tongues were not to be serving as a sign or proof of anything to a believer; not even for salvation.
That one heavy guy who's middle aged yet dressed like a teenager and has those nasty, vomit inducing dreads. The list goes on.
I do not know of that one, but no matter.

It is the ones we favor that we should always discern with the Lord Jesus Christ because they are not perfect either and may say things not of the truth in His words. Indeed, a lot of the "good ones" are doling out judgment as to who are real Christians from those that are not as well as who is really saved from those that are not.

So it is not surprising that you picked up a few errant judgments along the way from the "good ones" out there, but scripture reproves such judgments as condemnation rather than corrections when corrections is what we are to do, and with His help, excommunicate or withdraw when those brothers in error refusing to repent in the hopes that they may be ashamed and the Lord will lead them to repentance one day before the Bridegroom comes.

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Proverbs 14:12, KJV). Read it three times for emphasis….
This can apply to those led astray by spirits thinking they are the Holy Spirit falling on them like in slain in the spirit, holy laughter, and even at their salvation when they go forward to pray for their salvation.

Matthew 12:38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Just pointing out how there are other ways for saved believers to go astray at even in their walk with the Lord.
If I recall correctly, God only told Adam not to eat of that forbidden tree and then created Eve. Adam had told Eve what God had said and that was why Satan went to Eve to sow doubts in His words because she did not heard from God Himself. This was why God was angry with the man because he did heard it from Him but instead hearkened unto the word of the woman instead, for why women are to be submissive to the husband & not the other way around.
Paul was an apostle all right. Just not sure if he was signified as the 13th apostle. In the upper room, there were many disciples when came the time to cast lots to replace Judas Iscariot, and so as far as the office of the 12 disciples which was filled, there were other disciples as well as apostles before Paul was saved and called into the ministry by the Lord.
I do not believe these apostles made any religious man made commitment to Christ & His words but relied on Him totally for the ministry through them as well as to them in living that reconciled relationship with God through Jesus Christ..

Indeed, how could Paul write this if he was under a man made bondage like a commitment or a promise to Christ?

Galatians 5:1Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage....
5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:...
11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

So His words bring a whole new meaning about "how" we are to follow Him by denying ourselves as able to and submitting to God in trusting Jesus as our Good shepherd to help us to follow Him which is what He is asking us to do when He said "follow Me"

Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
I promise! Thanks.
We all make mistakes in our walk with the Lord, but the key here is what do we do when we make errors and His words corrects us? Do we resist His correction or do we press on as if we did no wrong? Most often times than not, the believer is not ready to receive that correction or cannot believe that correction for that would mean they made a mistake or the church made a mistake and they cannot accept that. I know I make mistakes and I am trusting Jesus to help me receive corrections because I do want to abide in His words as I rely on Him to help me in telling the truth.

I had enlarged and boldened this portion out of your quote. I can agree that back then, Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden of Eden, as they lost that communion with God, but as for cast out of His Presence, I would have to wonder about that since Abel pleased God with his offering but got killed by Cain and yet Seth was conceived to replace Abel in being that godly lineage from Adam. How did Cain & Abel begin that practice of worshiping & pleasing God other than Adam had to have begun it. I cannot prove that, but just saying I do not believe Adam was void of God's Presence in Him visiting him after the fall but just cast out of the Garden of Eden.

Course we prophesy in part and know in part so if anybody has scripture to the contrary to correct me, please do so, you or anyone else reading this.
Are you talking about when He comes as the Bridegroom when He cast the unrepentant saved believers & former believers that would verbally deny Him, from His Presence at the Marriage Supper table in Heaven? I would agree BUT the saints left behind along with former believers, He still abides in them.

2 Timothy 2:11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

This is why we are to call even former believers to repentance so they too can go to Jesus for help to see the truth in His words and lean on Him to help them depart from iniquity so they can be received by Him as that vessel unto honor in His House, OTHERWISE if they remain in unrepentant iniquity, then they get left behind in becoming vessels unto dishonor but still in His House, vessels of wood & earth to be resurrected after the great tribulation.

2 Timothy 2:
18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

Again, the Holy Spirit is not going anywhere, even when we grieve Him as we are sealed unto that day of redemption, but will it be as a vessel unto honor at the rapture event or as a vessel unto dishonor after he great tribulation?

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption

2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, aka the Bridegroom, does want to lead us as the Good Shepherd He is through the Holy Spirit in us.
He is in us and with us always when we are living our lives down here, even when led astray. This is the reality in Christ Jesus for any and all believers.

Matthew 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

That means we are always Spirit-filled since salvation as a testimony from God that He has saved us. Because we are still in this vile body of death, is why we are always Spirit-filled so we will be held accountable to what we sow towards; the works of the flesh or the fruits of the Spirit which are by Jesus Christ by faith in Him to continue His work in us to His glory. Look how we are a new creature in Christ when our bodies are the temples of the holy Spirit now.

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Why would the Holy Spirit draw attention to Himself to reveal Himself to some of us? His job is to testify of the Son thru us to glorify the Son. Only the spirits of the antichrist ( antichrist means instead of Christ ) would try to take our focus away from the Son which the indwelling holy Spirit would not do.

John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

John 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Consider this.. is God partial in the body of believers? Then why would the indwelling Holy Spirit reveal Himself to us when the only thing we will know of Him as opposed to how the world receives spirits because they see it or feel it, is that the real holy Spirit is in us. Jesus said so.

John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Maybe you can explain how the Holy Spirit reveal Himself to you and even more so why you say only to some of us? Yet by His words above in john 14:17, we will know Him by Him dwelling in us.

As it is, Jesus Christ will deliver sinners from their sins when they come to Him at that throne of grace & trust Him to do it.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.....

8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

God bless!
Not sure if you are meaning this or not, but believers that have gone astray need not seek another supernatural filling of the Holy Spirit since He never left. All they need to do is go before that throne of grace and pray to Jesus Christ for forgiveness and deliverance from their sins, even if it is each and every day because of temptations.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

There's a difference between "struggling with and wanting deliverance from" than "most who accept being LGB or T+ and call themselves Christian". The latter cannot exist.
I would say these people and the like are such Christians as the former who are "that" no longer. It IS a choice.
No one calls themselves a Christian: Drunk. Woman/child beater. Killer. Rapist. Pedo. Thief. etc. How "convenient" they and others call themselves "LGB or T+ Christian".
The latter can NOT be Christian. They are false converts. Never truly believed in God and salvation therefore wasn't saved and didn't receive it in the first place. If there is no change there is no salvation.
God does love but that doesn't negate rejection, sins, and consequences. A Christian use Jesus' stance as the middle ground for all sinners yet these two seem to be an exception.
How can a false teacher be a Christian if they aren't acting as such? They can't.
Those who willingly do it, Copeland, Myers, Osteen to name a few know what they are doing. Prosperity gospel is not Gospel.
Those three are not going to change. Look at their actions (fruits) and lifestyle choices.
"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man (person) to inherit the Kingdom of God."

If a Christian Catholic girl believes that fornication is prostitution for why she believes it is okay to have sex outside before marriage and my former church believed it was okay to masturbate avoiding 5 exceptions then adding as long as you think good thoughts, how do you deal with that when they know the gospel already?

The world lies, and the churches compromises and so whose fault is it when you go online and do a search about former homosexual Christians and find instead a whole bunch of links telling seekers that it is okay to be a homosexual and a Christian? Where do you think you should spend your time doing? Preaching the gospel when they already know it OR show them by the scripture to expose the lies and false teachings that the world & compromising churches are doing so they can call on Jesus to deliver them from their sins to no longer live in them?

No matter what falsehood or what other gospel that saved believers get lured into, to deal with false teachings is to expose the works of darkness by the scripture rather than telling them about the gospel when they already know it, unless of course, they believe they cannot be saved by Jesus Christ because they are living in sin and they cannot find it in themselves by their strength & will power like keeping a commitment or promise as if that is the power in how we are to stop when in actuality, it is not. We are to live by faith in Jesus Christ as our Good Shepherd & Friend to look to daily in helping us lay aside every weight & sin Hebrews 12:1-2 to walk in the light in fellowship with the Father & the Son. 1 John 1:3-9

Yes, many saved believers walk away from Jesus because try as they might by their will power and religious zeal, they cannot stop sinning and so they deem they do not have the Holy Spirit and therefore they are not saved all because they fail to keep that commitment or promise to Christ to stop sinning and they can't do it. Their spirit is willing but their flesh is weak.. therefore what is impossible with man trying to do it by keeping a commitment or a promise, it is possible with God when they ask Him to set them free from that commitment & promise to stop sinning and trust in Him as their Good shepherd & Friend to destroy the works of the devil in their lives so they can stop sinning and live following Him.

There are some saved believers still living under that commitment but they give grace to themselves while they keep 'trying" and yet all the while condemning others for not trying hard enough and saying they are not really saved.

There are so many lies out there for why a saved believer lives in sin or gives up because they are trying to stop sinning by their might & will power by keeping that commitment & promise... there may be some cases where preaching the gospel is necessary to remind them how they are saved and why they are saved and that all they need is trust Jesus Christ not just for salvation, but for following Him too.

In John 15:1-8, a saved believer may be His disciple for a while and then stop abiding in Him and His words for whatever the reason. Although he is still saved since this is about being His disciple in bearing fruit BUT the consequence is dire because they can be cut off & cast into the fire as in left behind when that fire is sent on the earth, Luke 12:40-49, for refusing correction in being ready so as to continue to abide in Him & His words as His disciples.

  • We're not talking about those sins. LGB and T+ is rejection of Self and why it is one of the worst sins. Sexuality is a constant part of someone be it normal or their subjective lifestyle choices. Everyone has it. Acts are not a constant.
  • Most of the church compromises. It cares more about numbers, tax exempt status, butts in seats, and other things they hold over accurate scripture and God.
  • That's not the only group of former LGB and T+. They prove it is a choice.
  • Most know it and don't care. They prefer their sins and they aren't the only ones. Most who reject God and the Bible don't want an Authority to tell them "No."
  • It's simple. A Christian can NOT be: "Insert sin here." As mentioned above there is a difference between the two. We all struggle with something and we don't want it vs those who have no intentions of changing and simply slap the "Christian" label next to it.

When one worship the creature more than the Creator, God gives them up to a reprobate mind to do that which is not convenient which is homosexuality. What leads to that is the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life.

Youthful lust as a way of waging war against the soul as those who sow to the flesh shall wax worse and worse in reaping corruption and so it may seem like it is a choice to them but the result of corruption for not fleeing youthful lust.
  • Most of the church compromises. It cares more about numbers, tax exempt status, butts in seats, and other things they hold over accurate scripture and God.
It is the sign of the latter days for why churches and even Christian forums will be hard for believers to find the Truth.
  • That's not the only group of former LGB and T+. They prove it is a choice.
They may believe it was their choice, but when led by the infirmity in the flesh in reaping corruption, I doubt they see themselves as a slave to sin.
  • Most know it and don't care. They prefer their sins and they aren't the only ones. Most who reject God and the Bible don't want an Authority to tell them "No."
Agreed. Some don't. Yet others may have been scattered from Jesus when asked to repent of sins first before coming to & believing in Him to be saved when in actuality, Jesus came to deliver them from their sins too & sinners need to know that to hope in Jesus Christ for that deliverance too..
  • It's simple. A Christian can NOT be: "Insert sin here." As mentioned above there is a difference between the two. We all struggle with something and we don't want it vs those who have no intentions of changing and simply slap the "Christian" label next to it.
Sometimes a Christian is misled into struggling with it by his flesh or will power by keeping a commitment or a promise instead of going to Jesus for His strength and help to overcome the sin by their faith in Him to do His work so they can. Such believers give up and believe they cannot change themselves thus believing the lie about genetics when in reality, they need to recognize that Jesus will and can change them.

I agree that there are some professing to be believers and may have been overcome when sowing to the flesh in reaping corruption when they no longer care how worse they are to even call on Jesus for help, but they are still His.

2 Peter 2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

Since Jesus Christ loses none of all the Father has given Him, then this is why there will be vessels unto dishonor in His House, that will be denied by Him because of them being workers of iniquity and thus not abiding in Him as His disciples to be left behind at the rapture event for when they die, but their spirits will be with the Lord to be resurrected after the great tribulation.

Now it is because of this, we cannot tell the difference between the fakers and the professing believers that foolishly went astray, but God knows who are His and who are not. We can only correct them by the scriptures in proving that they are not abiding in Him as His disciples for why they are risking being denied by the Bridegroom for when He comes at the rapture event & if they think it will not matter to them, they forget that they will be weeping and gnashing their teeth. They will know the loss as the prodigal son will know his loss of giving up his inheritance for wild living for he can never get that back, but he is still son testifying to the power of God in salvation for all who believe in Him, even in His name.

I want to thank everyone who read or commented (or both) on my post. Even though I may not reply to individual messages, I'm glad to read the discussions arising from my post. My main role on this forum is to speak God's truth. My purpose here isn't to argue a point excessively, because God's Words requires no excessive arguments, as they stand as the full authority of truth and life itself. I encourage everyone to have a personal relationship with God, and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance, and confirmation in all spiritual and personal matters. God bless.
