Hey guys, I'm going to be speaking to my peers about purity and saving sex for marriage. I will be speaking to other high-school girls, I really am really ut e hoping the lord will impact them and I know that the holy spirit is working with me but I was curious if you guys had any special points that I need to make or any ideas. May I ask a question:
Is your talk to the High School girls and your peers aimed at being a scriptural talk giving Biblical guidelines on purity?
Or is it a general educational talk regarding the health issues for young people concerning purity etc

Amen for the effort let The Lord guide you He is faithfull to the give ing of His word and what to speak when we cast it all on The Lord , I've been in schools before as a speaker and was told that if I spoke if Christ make it as such ,only opinion,or as for me . As long as you keep all said in this range .let the Holy Spirit be you're guide and may God prepare the Ground....The word says that when Samson slept with Delilah the Spirit would leave him and he would not notice it ..a moments Idgression can lead to a life of heartache ....Again I pray The Lord guide you and you speak as one of athouity in Christ.......Rev

For what's its worth my son is in 7th grade and growing up way to fast for me ..lol. But I tell him that if you throw matches at something long enough you will start a fire ..! Lust burns fast and out of control and with it goes self respect and mental health ..Hide His words in you're heart ( Don't give you're heart foolishly ) so that you may not sin against God ..!He had plans for us before our birth and they were Plans for Good and not evil .This includes you're mate .wait upon The Lord He alone is able and faithfull to complete a good work in you're life .....Rev

it is important in my opinion when speaking in any public setting that we include the gospel in some fashion. without it any act of obedience is as a filthy rag. If someone desires to live pure, they should first be washed by the pure blood of the Lamb.
Relate purity to the sinlessness of Christ Jesus, and include his death burial and resurrection. What better guide to purity than the spirit of God within you?

I agree. ..how ever to the worlds disadvantage we have to stay why in certain criteria in my are when in that setting ...again it's between you and God how its handled . If God leads you speak with that kind of boldness if allowed than by all means do it ...but if not The Lord tells us to be wise as searpents but harmless as doves . Speak The Word as the Lord leads you can't go wrong ....you can speak volumes of the Gospel sometimes with out ever giving a chapter and verse ...It was the way of Christ....Rev

Which one are you ?
Styrofoam
China Tea Cup
plastic cup
paper cup
I can't remember word for word, what I learned it was a short piece, but I'll break it down and add my own spin to it.
Each cup serves the same purpose, but they are not equal in worth and quality.
A paper cup is good, but it's usage is temporary
A plastic cup is great, can be reused multiple times until the scratches appear.
Styrofoam cup is good, but it's usage is also temporary
Tea Cup is great , can be resused multiple times until it breaks
None of these cups last forever, the teacup is the most expensive obviously but still destructible.
Each cup represent our purity.
If I choose the Styrofoam cup as my purity then there's no standards for me to follow. You can serve anything with a Styrofoam cup, I can go anywhere and use my Styrofoam cup, serve it at all my parties, unless I'm suppose to entertain royalty, my friends could careless if I serve them juice in a Styrofoam cup. Seriously when will I possibly meet royalty, I'm a simple person. I'll get some matching plates. If one gets a hole or dirty, throw it away, buy a new one. Honestly there's no need to save it.
Now if my name is Mrs Bucket ( that's pronounced bouquet as in the flowers:arguefly:, the 'T' in Bucket is silent ), I would be a tea cup. Only the finest Organic African teas and coffee would be allowed in my cup. If I was to take my tea cup out with me, I would guard it with my life. I've taken my cup to places, some might call unacceptable but I made it out without a scratch. I'm always ready if royalty was to ever step foot in my house. My friends know my china is for special occasions. My china has a lot of sentimental value, you have to care for it, store it and hope it never gets an imperfection. God forbid it gets chip, because I'll have find an expert to restore it
It's important to know what purity is, but unless a value scale is placed before our eyes, the conversation become " Do not have sex"
It's much deeper than that.
How do you tell the sexually abused boy/girl, be pure don't have sex. When they've already been devalued and exposed to sex.
How do you tell the person who is already sexuality active, don't have sex.
The value needs to be placed as a foundation, this value needs to be protected, protection takes responsibility, responsibility needs accountability.
Show them their value, how they are worth being protected, worth waiting for.
If in their minds they feel worthless, let them know its a lie.

In Satanic, Pagan rituals sexual acts are used to gain power/ make spiritual contact. Sex is the most intimate thing humans can do, and that intimacy should be protected.
The emotional damage suffered is deadly. For females we yearn for love, and some women see that intimacy as love. If the guy want to have sex with me, it means he like me, he love me, we can get married. Our minds travel a lot further than men do. Now the value is missing, so the female asserts the attention given to her as a marker to her value. If the male valued himself, he would also value her and protect her purity. He transfers his self worth unto the female, she does the same because she allows it.
Health is another issue, that should make everyone run from sex, hold off from sex, remain a virgin...but it does not.
Teens think engaging in other sexual activities instead of intercourse makes them safe from diseases. Technical virgins are no safer than sexually active persons from STD'S.
