I am new here so please bear with me. I am so glad to have found this website.
A few weeks ago I had my second miscarriage this year and it is obvious the Lord really used that situation to put me back on track again. He has opened my eyes to make me realize I had really fallen away from Him the past few years. Athough I grieve the loss of my second child, I am so thankful that God was gracious enough to pull me back toward Him.
I feel though as if I am being attacked by Satan more intensely than I have before. I know my closeness to God makes Him furious which is no suprise to me.
Its like He knows my weaknesses. Fear of not being provided for (money) is one of them. Today I became so extremely distraught over going to the grocery store I cried myself into a depressive state. I know who's telling me these things but sometimes I get so tricked into believing his lies it feels so real. I can quote scripture, but It is hard for me to believe at that time that I can trust God. I hope someone can relate to what I am going through or has felt what I have at one time or another. I am fairly new Christian so any advice is greatly appreciated and needed. Thank you

Sorry to hear what you have gone through. I know its probably not much of a consolation now but you'll see both your babies again in Heaven. Do you believe God caused your miscarriage?

Dear ArmyWife,

My sincere thoughts and prayers are with you. I do grieve with you with your loss. Allow me to encourage you ... you are truly precious to the LORD and you delight HIS heart. HIS heart is for you and desires to see you rise and stand as the true daughter of the KING.

Yes, satan does have a way of attacking us, but I have learned that he “usually attacks us most in our greatest area of strength”. (Becoming a prayer warrior/ Elizabeth Alves, pg. 32) Satan is not only a liar and a deceiver but he also will do anything to kill and destroy our destiny. So.... Rise up my dear one for the LORD is with you and put on your armour of GOD.

Jesus has given you the authority to use HIS name. And that which you bind on earth is bound in heaven. And that which you loose on earth is loosed in heaven. So respond by saying to the enemy of our LORD..... Therefore in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I bind the principalities, the powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world. I bind and cast down spiritual wickedness in high places and render them harmless and ineffective against me (children & family) in the name of Jesus. (Matt. 16:19, Matt. 18: 18-19, Eph. 6: 11-12)

As you can see dear one, I do relate and each day I need to rise up and declare my LORD's Word ... for it is true, alive and full of promise. Draw closer to the FATHER, for during those times HE will bring you into the oneness of heart with HIS.

Blessings & Love,
Snowrose

If you are a genuinely born again Christian, this meaning that you are looking unto Christ and growing in sanctification and you feel the presence of the Holy Spirit in your life then you dont have to worry that much.

Satan is a defeated enemy, he is called the slanderer, he slanders men to God, he slanders God to men,he slanders men to each other, he slanders you to yourself, but he has no power over you if you are covered under the precious blood of Jesus that was spilled at Calvary.

It is normal for a young christian to be under siege by the enemy, but I repeat, if you are a truly born again christian, God will not let the devil destroy you, sometimes God uses the devil to strenghten us.

Revelation 20:1-2
God could might as well lock the devil for an eternity in Hell after Jesus has resurrected but He did not. Why? He still needs the devil and uses him as a defeated servant.

Just pray to God, look unto Jesus and grow in sanctification, read the word daily, it is spiritual food.

God Bless!

You are honestly going to tell someone who is suffering demonic attacks that sometimes God uses the devil to strengthen people? Its no wonder we have so many defeated Christians today. While we are here, the devil will always attack every Christian. Christians need to learn to wear all the spiritual armor and stand against the attacks. God isn't saying to Christians, "Hey Mr. Devil I need to strengthen this Christian so I'm going to use you to attack this Christian and cause her great harm." It so sad to even see another Christian suggest this to someone going through a trial. To someone who has a Covenant with God.

God will deliver us from any evil work. And He can bring good out of the evil works of the enemy. He is a good God. He doesn't train you with miscarriages, sickness, disease, car crashes, etc. He trains us with His Word and in services. The devil is the thief, the murderer and destroyer. Not God. I seriously wish some Christians, who see God as a child abuser, would stop writing "encouraging" posts for Christians who are suffering trials. Its just downright embarassing seeing Christians suggest that God uses the devil to reign down evil and death and destruction on His Children. The devil isn't working with God and God isn't working with the devil. But God can take anything the devil throws our way to destroy us, to destroy our faith and to destroy our testimony to work for good. When these kind of terrible things happen we need to examine what we are doing in our lives since we have a Covenant with Almighty God. We don't need to tell people that God is using the devil to strengthen us or to teach us anything. Jesus came to bring us life and life more abundantly. he didn't come to bring us death and destruction. This is precisely the kind of erroneous and legalistic teaching that keeps people in bondage thinking that God is harming them for a reason that we'll learn about in eternity. We serve a good and loving God. We have scriptural reasons why Christians suffer terrible things in their life. And God is not the source of those terrible things. He is not a God that goes out to make you miserable.

Here are few verses that prove what i wrote is true, just remember Job and Peter; Luke 22:31-32 it was necessary for Peter to be sifted in order to become a useful tool.
other verses are:
Job 1:12
Luke 12:7
1 Timothy 1:20

If we are a true child of God, He will let the devil attack us in order that we become stronger and more disciplined. He does that out of love for us.
But sometimes He does it because of our disobedience.
He will also withdraw His presence from us to show us what we are like without Him and what we are like in Him, so we may understand it's all of grace and to teach us to become more and more dependent on Him.

It is not Satan who rules in Hell...it is God who rules over Hell, Haven't we read Revelation 14:10
"The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb"

Don't fear the devil that much ArmyWife08, he is already a defeated enemy, he was defeated by Jesus at Calvary. Hebrews 2:14-15
Just look and pray unto Jesus, seek Him with all your heart, He will help you, He is also Jehovah-Jireh (the provider) Philippians 4:19 , Genesis 22:14

btw, good encouraging post Brighthouse, Im sure if ArmyWife08 is a true child of God, the Lord will deliver her out of trouble and make His face shine upon her.

God Bless!

Demonic attacks hmmmmm?
I been saved, born again, 31 years and yes the closer you get to the Lord the more you can be attacked. By demons by peoples choices even by circumstances. But most of all God see's everything and is growing us up.

There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
Psa 91:10-16

Not sure what Lk 12:7 has to do with this topic. The other scripture citations are valid, however. Also, I would add 2 Cor 12:7-9.

Thank you all for your responses. I have read through all of them, they make me so glad to have somewhere to go to talk with other believers.

It is unfortunate I felt so upset this particular day. Add hormones returning to a pre-pregnancy state and it makes for an awful combination. My study Bible explains that Satan will attack us when we are emotionally weak. I am believing this to be true.

I do not want to be tied up worrying about money, wanting other people's approval or acceptance of me, etc. I feel these things are so "earthly". I feel selfish for when I do worry because it is distracting me from the plans God has called me to do.

Welcome Armywife! I pray God will continue to strengthen you. I have to agree with Shipwreck and others, God frequently does use the enemy to strengthen us, as a sort of spiritual inoculation. From reading your initial post I'd say your understanding of God's purpose and his desire to mold you and not to destroy you is fairly mature. I think of the old maxim that "if the Devil never bothers you, you're not doing something right".
