“Righteous are you, O Lord,
and right are your rules.
You have appointed your testimonies in righteousness
and in all faithfulness.
My zeal consumes me,
because my foes forget your words.
Your promise is well tried,
and your servant loves it.
I am small and despised,
yet I do not forget your precepts.
Your righteousness is righteous forever,
and your law is true.
Trouble and anguish have found me out,
but your commandments are my delight.
Your testimonies are righteous forever;
give me understanding that I may live.” (Psalms 119:137-144 ESV)

This word “righteous” denotes “divine approval, the approval of God, his judicial verdict” which “refers to what is deemed right by the Lord (after His examination), i.e. what is approved in his eyes” (Helps Word-studies). The word also carries with it the meaning of “virtuous, moral, blameless, upright, honorable, honest, respectable, and decent” (MS Office Thesaurus). Our God is 100% blameless, upright, honorable and trustworthy in all that he is and does and says. He is absolutely perfect in every respect, because he is God.

So God’s rules (his New Covenant commands), for us who believe in Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Savior, are also fully righteous in purpose and in character and in intent. They are for our good (our welfare) to keep us from walking in sin and in wickedness and to help and guide us in holy living. For as Christ’s followers, we are commanded that we must obey our Lord and his commandments to us, and that we must not make sin our practice, or else we will not inherit eternal life with God. And we must take this to heart.

So many people today, though, are not teaching this. They are teaching God’s grace as full forgiveness of all sins with no requirements for true repentance (turning from sin) and for walks of obedience to our Lord and to his commands. Many are teaching one verse (Romans 10:9) out of context and they are making that “the gospel” message, in entirety. And so they are giving people a false impression that all they have to do is say with their lips, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in his resurrection, and thus they are saved.

But that does not agree with the teachings of the New Testament, as a whole, with regard to the gospel of Christ and of our salvation from sin. The teachings on the message of the gospel and on what constitutes genuine faith and salvation are that we must die with Christ to sin and walk in obedience to his commands, in practice, and sin must no longer be what we practice. For Jesus gave his life up for us on that cross to deliver us out of our slavery (addiction) to sin so we would now obey him with our lives.

[Matt 7:13-14,21-23; Lu 9:23-26; Jn 10:27-30; Ac 26:18; Rom 2:6-8; Rom 6:1-23; Rom 8:1-14; Rom 12:1-2; 1 Co 6:9-10,19-20; 1 Co 10:1-22; 2 Co 5:10,15,21; Gal 5:16-24; Gal 6:7-8; Eph 2:8-10; Eph 4:17-32; Eph 5:3-6; Col 1:21-23; Col 3:1-17; Tit 2:11-14; Heb 3:1-19; Heb 4:1-13; Heb 10:23-31; Heb 12:1-2; 1 Pet 2:24; 1 Jn 1:5-10; 1 Jn 2:3-6,15-17; 1 Jn 3:4-10]

But, if we are among those who believe in and who follow the gospel message taught in its full context, which requires that we deny self, die to sin daily, and follow our Lord in walks of obedience to his commands, we may be ostracized by the majority who are following after a diluted and altered gospel message based off Scriptures taught out of context and twisted to say what they do not say when taught in context. And we may face much rejection, persecution, and false accusations against ourselves.

But, regardless of how we are treated by those who prefer a very diluted and altered gospel message to the truth, in its fullness, we must stay the course. We must keep following our Lord in obedience to his commands, and we must continue to deny self and to die to sin daily and to honor God with how we live our lives, day in and day out. And we must seek his will and purpose for our lives and then follow him wherever he leads us in whatever calling he has upon our lives collectively and individually. No giving up!!

‘Til The Storm Passes By

By Thomas Mosie Lister

In the dark of the midnight have I oft hid my face
While the storm howls above me, and there's no hiding place
'Mid the crash of the thunder, Precious Lord, hear my cry
Keep me safe till the storm passes by

Many times Satan whispered
There is no use to try
For there's no end of sorrow, there's no hope by and by
But I know Thou art with me, and tomorrow I'll rise
Where the storms never darken the skies

Till the storm passes over, till the thunder sounds no more
Till the clouds roll forever from the sky
Hold me fast, let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand
Keep me safe till the storm passes by

Steadfast in Trials and Tribulations

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that WE MUST through MUCH TRIBULATION enter into the Kingdom of GOD-Acts 14:22-> combined with Revelation 11:15-18 and 1Corinthians 15:24-27, take a look.
Hebrews 10:36-39
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of GOD, ye might receive the promise.

37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

===================The glory which shall be revealed-->IN US - SONS OF GOD =================
Romans 8:18-21:
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of GOD.-->John 1:12.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same IN HOPE,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of GOD.

Philippians 3:20-21:
20 For our conversation is in heaven(heaven?Ephesians 1:3-8, take a look); from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 Who shall CHANGE our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto himself.-->Matthew 28:18

NOTE: The work above to be make by our Lord JESUS from now on, it is not a magic, but a process, understand? This present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed IN US us from now on, "for unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance"->Matthew 25:29 combined with 1 Corinthians 15:51-55:

51 ... We shall not all sleep, but WE shall all be CHANGED,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye->(within the last 7 years-Daniel 12:10-12),
at the last trump (1Thessalonian 4:16 combined with Revelation 11:15-18): for the Trumpet shall sound (the Power of own Scriptures-the Word of GOD, the Word is GOD, the Old and New Testaments-Revelation 11:3), and the dead shall be raised incorruptible (Isaiah 26:19-21,take a look, please), and WE shall be CHANGED.
53
For this corruptible MUST PUT on incorruption, and this MORTAL MUST PUT on immortality.-->Luke 20:35-36, take a look, combined with 1Thessalonians 4:15-17,
54
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. -Halellujah!-

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

Matthew 28:18-> JESUS said: All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. And more: Whosoever liveth and believeth in me as the Scripture hath said, shall NEVER die. Believest thou this?
John 5:39-40: ->
39 Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have ETERNAL life: and they are they which testify of me.
40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

1Thessalonians 4:14-17:-
> 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.-> (The Word is GOD, GOD Himself, self-executing, understand?)
15 For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord with the trump of GOD: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds (in the environment of the 3rd heaven - 2Corinthians 12:1-4, take a look - which will be established from now on-Luke 20:35-36), to meet the Lord in the AIR (to meet he Lord in the NEW HEAVEN, the 3rd heaven, higher than the current heaven --> according to the Luke 20:35-36 combined with 1Corinthians 15:24-27 and Revelation 11:15-18, take a look <<-->>within of the which we are living for now-Ephesians 1:3-8, take a look): and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Job 22:21-30
21 Acquaint now thyself with Him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.
22 Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth(Matthew 4:4), and lay up His words in thine heart.
23 If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.
24 Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir
(Genesis 2:11and 10 combined with 1Kings 18:40-46) as the stones of the brooks.

25 Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.
26 For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty,
and shalt lift up thy face unto GOD.
27 Thou shalt make thy prayer unto Him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.
28Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
-> Matthew 25:6-7.
29 When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.

30 He shall deliver the island of the innocent("shall deliver one who is not innocent"Torah): and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands("and he will be delivered because of the purity of your hands."Torah)

May our Lord GOD BLESS us and keep us, and give us His protection
Amen
