I'm doing rural evangelism right now. I go to interior villages to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to people and give them tracts and bible study notes or lesson. There is a good respond. Please pray for the evangelism work and for the people receiving the gospel to surrender their lives completely to God.

I'm also asking for good sermons to share out freely. So if you have one to give out, let me know.

God bless all of you.

Sam.

Praying for you work to the Glory of God that it be.

I share the Spurgeon's ones, but if/when I come across others. I will share them as well.

Thanks brother for your prayers. Yes, I have seen that sermon and it is a great teaching. Can print them out and give freely?
Please let me know. Please here needs teachings that will change their lives and I know that the Holy Spirit will help them to understand every sermon or bible lesson.

When we talk about evangelism many people are so skeptical about it.But I feel evangelism is the key in winning people to Christ.

Evangelism is a gift and one who is chosen to this.
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; Ephesians 4:11

Notice that it is right after prophets and before pastors. So, if one looks to this list as being an order of gifts then surely Evangelism is very important as you have said.

To say that some are skeptical about Evangelism, is no surprise. Yet, many are skeptical about many things contained in Scripture. I find this to be the case, because if this comes from believers and nonbelievers as well. It can be founded in the fear of being moved from the things they want to do, rather than what God desires for them or even calls one to do.

Evangelism is really no nonsense. I don't mean joyless! For it can bring great joy, but can also bring one trials and tribulations. It also brings great fear in the beginning or at many times when moving into new areas. In fact many consider public speaking to be the greatest fear of people. Oh, it's easier to talk with those you might know, but to a stranger? To a group of them? Not so easy.

This is not to condemn those whose doubt, fear, reluctance prevent them from be able to do this Evangelism. It happened to me the first time I attempted it. The Adversary threw at me many a dart that day!!!! Until finally I screamed out loud the name of Jesus and ran out of the house! :-) No not easy.

Still, each of us should at the very least be prepared to testify on why we believe what we believe! With this there should be no doubt, fear, or reluctance to do when the situation presents itself. No Shame! Rejoice and be Glad in the opportunity to share His Great Love and for what He has done for you!!! This too is Evangelism!

Always keep in mind that one should never let what others say, be a hindrance to following what the Holy Spirit lays upon your heart to do! Though understand that if you are called to do this. God will provide the resources for you to follow through with it. Just understand that sermons, money, temporal things are not what is important to the Evangelist! It is the Word of God, ones Faith and understanding that it will be by the Holy Spirit that others will be convicted and come to the foot of the Cross, to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior! Alleluia!

We are truly in need of many laborers in this field brother! For there are many ears waiting to hear the Good News!

Praying for you.
With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Sam, I have a blog where I share what the Lord teaches me through his Word each day. The gospel is taught in most all (if not all) of these posts, so if you find something there that you think would be useful to share with people, they are all in public domain, and you are welcome to copy and print them and to use them. The blog is located at Run With It.

Dave,

Thank you! Back in 2012 someone volunteered to make a website for me where I could share these writings and the songs the Lord has given me to write. That worked well for a couple of years, and then the web host failed, i.e. I think they just disappeared, went out of business, and along with them went the website, too. So, it is no more! But, during that time, the man who designed and supported the website for me told me I needed to get an account with wordpress.com, which is the host for my present blog. So, when I signed up with them, I saw where I could start a blog, and so I did, and then the website went away, so God had that all worked out for me in advance. I have had the blog about 3 years now.

I appreciate your sense of humor here. :) And, I thank you for your kindness and for your spiritual support for the work God has given me to do. I know this does not mean that you agree with me on everything I write, but you still encourage me, and I greatly appreciate that. Thank you, too, for sharing this blog with other readers. I hope and pray it will be a blessing to them. All glory to God for everything he does in my life and through my life and through the ministry which he has given to me to write what he teaches me through his Word each day.

Blessings to you!

Sue
