Empathy---
This is how I finish my working life. My last 20 yrs. 10+ were enjoyable.
But then the imposed stress set in. :( ie external to that which makes for challenge in a job.
Every stream of life (& Country) seems to be suffering in this way & it's effecting all ages not just those who are not up to the rapid changes that have taken place in these previous 10-15 years.
Help I hope----->
I couldn't believe that Christians could suffer in this way, & that there were physical reactions to it.
One thing I did do was to orally ask God into the room, an office or lab. Claim the corridors etc for Him.
Pray for those who try & grind you down. :shade:
in the word-----
God never said "it" would be easy. Life is part of the battle. & the big battle is for our minds.
He will never leave you or forsake you.
He IS there with you. He has all the stength you need.
Gideon didn't expect to be a living example to us. Young David grew WITH God watching over him.
Do you know or have you seen & do you remember the "Footprints" ?

Stressed???? Who isn't in this day & age??? Actually, not me :)

2Co 4 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
We are troubled on every side, (Yes we are) yet not distressed; we are perplexed, (Yes we are) but not in despair;
Persecuted, (Yes we are) but not forsaken; cast down, (Yes we are) but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

Joh 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.

I like this thread. Very encouraging in a simple straightforward way. What GOD promises is more than we'll ever comprehend but we can comprehend the experience for real by believing and living a joyful life in/with Christ.

Amen :)
