I have had a very tough few years and I am struggling with my own health issues and caring for elderly parents I then look for some support from friends and work colleagues and I find myself often hearing people’s life experiences filled will pain and suffering and then I am left here just feeling very sad and conflicted in my own faith in God.

I just feel an anger for why things have happened to me in the way that it has due to my ill health. I feel like the tougher my life is getting my anger and frustration is growing and it making me question my faith.

First welcome to Talk Jesus this online community of Christian believers.

You are not alone believe me. Yet, if we as believers knowing His Word realize, though we don't really want to. That we in Christ Jesus will be facing trials and tribulations in this World. And through all this pain and suffering, that we realize and live knowing that our treasures, and what should be our outlook and our longing for is, first that we are faithful by which we Glorify of God, and second we hold on to the promises He has made for us for an Awesome future!

It's hard to imagine this future as we are in the midst of living a life that seems to be giving only pain and anguish. So, in this moment don't be shy about crying out to the Lord in what you are going through. He knows your pain, and can relate like no one else can to what you are going through!

Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 1 Peter 4:12-13

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have [its] perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:2-4

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy [to be compared] with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18

Still the tough road you are going through at this time, doesn't mean that we can't pray for relief, and know we can and hopefully will join with you in prayer for to be fortified, strengthened to stand, and that His Mercy in Grace fall upon you at this time of despair. You don't suffer alone dear one.

Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

With the Love of Christ Jesus, once again be welcomed. I'll pray for comfort and relief in this time of testing.

It's ok to pray prayers like this...

Lord, you are the God who saves me;
day and night I cry out to you.
May my prayer come before you;
turn your ear to my cry.

I am overwhelmed with troubles
and my life draws near to death.
I am counted among those who go down to the pit;
I am like one without strength.
I am set apart with the dead,
like the slain who lie in the grave,
whom you remember no more,
who are cut off from your care.

You have put me in the lowest pit,
in the darkest depths.
Your wrath lies heavily on me;
you have overwhelmed me with all your waves.
You have taken from me my closest friends
and have made me repulsive to them.
I am confined and cannot escape;
my eyes are dim with grief.

I call to you, Lord, every day;
I spread out my hands to you.
Do you show your wonders to the dead?
Do their spirits rise up and praise you?
Is your love declared in the grave,
your faithfulness in Destruction[e]?
Are your wonders known in the place of darkness,
or your righteous deeds in the land of oblivion?

But I cry to you for help, Lord;
in the morning my prayer comes before you.
Why, Lord, do you reject me
and hide your face from me?

From my youth I have suffered and been close to death;
I have borne your terrors and am in despair.
Your wrath has swept over me;
your terrors have destroyed me.
All day long they surround me like a flood;
they have completely engulfed me.
You have taken from me friend and neighbor—
darkness is my closest friend.

Greetings @Lostandfound2811

Welcome to Talk Jesus, another member from the UK, you are very welcome.

Regarding your troubles, trials and anger, I have been there my friend, many on here have for sure. If you listen to TV Evangelists you will think come to Jesus and you will not have these problems, they are so wrong, in fact Jesus tells us...

Matthew 6:32-34 (NKJV)
32 For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Do not worry about tomorrow, take things one day at a time.

Jesus wants to help us, He asks us, to come to Him in prayer, talk to Him, share your troubles with Him in prayer.

Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

When we accept Jesus, when we come to God the Father through Him, He hears our prayers my friend.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

May the Lord Bless you and guide you in all you do for others and how you cope yourself.

Take special care of yourself.

Hi Brother, me and my wife are knocking on a bit and one of us are
always at the doctors or hospital, it's called getting old..
But our hope we are eventually going to a better place.
So I can understand your position

God says be thankful in ALL thing, not easy eh!
What helps me and my wife is that as we think on others and not
ourselves it gets easier.
A neighbor who has just died age 43yrs leaving two young children,
said to me when he was alive and visiting hospital regularly,
you want to see the despair at hospital, I said the children,
he said no, it's the broken parents seeing their children dying
it's hard to watch, it not only stopped him complaining although
he new he was dying,
Since he told me that real life story, I too never complain again.

I have told you this story maybe for you to think of these things,
you may have stories of your own, it certainly makes me thankful.
I hope that as you think of these things it helps you too.
With Love, Wnl

God will not always save us in the way we want Him to. But if we put our trust in Him, He will indeed save us, if not in this world, then the next. But if we die while retaining our faith, we will not only be rewarded in the next world, but it will provide some good and wonderful bonus in even this world. I cant tell you what will happen to you, and it is indeed hard to trust in God when we dont understand the suffering we go through, and how its helping, I only know that I trust Him more than my own efforts or any other humans efforts.
