Supernatural Proof of Bible Is God Word

If anyone doubts God in keeping His word to us as being His word and not written by "men" or corrupted by men, the supernatural proof is right there in the King James Bible that we have the word of God.

Psalm 117 is the shortest chapter in the Bible.

Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible.

Psalm 118 is the chapter which is in the centre of the Bible.

There are 594 chapters before Psalm 118.
There are 594 chapters after Psalm 118.

Add these numbers up and you get 1188. What is odd is that Psalm 118:8 is the centre verse in the whole Bible.

Psalm 118:8It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Think the translators and the ones that put the Bible together could even do that on purpose? No way. God's hand is seen here.

So this says something about God keeping His Word to us. Jesus testified also of how the Word of God cannot be broken.

John 10:34Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; 36Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

John 19:35And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. 36For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. 37And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

John 5:39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

Confirms to the promise of God's word to us that if the Old Testament testifies of Jesus, so shall the New Testament as both the Old and the New centers around the central verse testifying the center of God's will for us. That's right. Psalm 118:8 is the centre verse in the Bible.

Psalm 118:8It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

And since He is able to give us His Word, we can rest in His Word that He has saved us and shall help us to live as His by trusting Him to do it.

And Jesus is the Word.

John 1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

So rest in Jesus and all of God's promises to you.

2 Corinthians 1:19For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. 20For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

John 6: 28Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Psalm 118:8 is supernatural proof that God gave us the Bible as inspiring men and leading them to give us His Word.

May God cause the increase so that those that seek God may rest in Jesus and all His promises to us.
