Here are a few websites that list companies that aggressively support LGBT organizations.
Here Are The 379 Companies Urging The Supreme Court To Support Same-Sex Marriage | The Huffington Post
UNF - Career Services - LGBT List of LGBT-Friendly Companies
Brands that love LGBT the most
I personally have made a little agreement with myself not to support them as much as possible.
I can't say I don't support all of them 100%. For example, there have been times when a certain
restaurant has been the ONLY choice in the area where I was at the time. So sometimes I will eat there.
Also, I own a certain brand of automobiles. I bought them before I was aware of their stance on this.
However, I don't plan on selling them or trading them in anytime soon (one I am still making payments).
Also, the company I work for only deals with certain vendors, so I have to deal with these as well.
But whenever there is a choice, I generally choose not to support them.
I haven't gone to a move this year, I am mostly fed up with Hollywood's stance on just about everything.
I don't watch Frazier, Big Bang, Rosie, Ellen, Oprah, or any show that opening supports these things either.
I haven't drank a Starbucks coffee in a few years.
Now I know I am just one person, but sometimes we make a difference as individuals with a common
stake. For example Target dept stores stock dropped 25% since they announced support for transgender
bathrooms in their stores.
So it becomes a question of... do we knowingly choose to support these companies?
Now it may be that we are ignorant about where some companies stand, and I'm certain some don't
make their financial support public knowledge. But for the companies we "know" about, is there
any reason to NOT support them?
