On a beach close to our home this 17 year old young man on holiday in the area was swept out to sea and has not been found.
Please pray....

The search for a teenage boy who went missing off a popular surfing beach — labelled one of the “most dangerous” swimming spots in South Australia — has been paused because of bad weather.

Police say 17-year-old Arash Yari, from Victoria, and his 20-year-old Norwegian friend Nimatllah Rafiq Ali were hit by a wave off Parsons Beach on the Fleurieu Peninsula just after 12.30pm on Tuesday.

Sad news....please keep the family in prayer....

The body of missing Victorian teenager Arash Yari has been found off a beach on South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula.

• Victorian teen Arash Yari was fishing with a friend when he went for a swim and was swept out to sea
• His friend was also caught in the rip, but made it back to shore
• Arash's father was rescued from the water by an Adelaide surfer after trying to rescue him

Police this morning confirmed the Police Water Operations Unit had pulled the body of 17-year-old Arash from waters off Parsons Beach, near Victor Harbor, after four days of searching.
