Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
James 4:14

An 18 year old Christian teenager died in a shark attack in New South Wales on Saturday

He was described as a committed evangelical Christian who worked with schools and homeless youth

On Friday, the day before his death, he had written these posts on his Facebook page

"God is calling each of us to impact the nations and make history. My prayer is that you find out what your calling is make it your vision and Go for it!!!'

And; "The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why."

May these words be a powerful testimony to his friends, family and readers, saved and unsaved
They speak to me of the brevity of life
The need of a Saviour
And the need to live a purpose filled life for the Lord

May the Lord bless and comfort those dear ones in mourning

I pray that this young man's final FB post gets world-wide coverage; that multiple thousands of people at least start to turn to Jesus as they mull his words.

Yes amen @SpiritLedEd

Excerpt from another article I read this morning

It has been revealed Mr Young turned to his good mate Kurt Gillan and prayed as he was being dragged to shore.

"He passed away peacefully, no pain, with his last words to me being: 'I love you brother'," Mr Gillan, 18, wrote on Facebook yesterday.

"He began to pray 'please God, my lord and Saviour, help protect my friends and help me through this time of need'. He then went unconscious."

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
Knowing that He which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
2 Corinthians 4:13-25

He stayed faithful to the end and at such a young age, I'm confident he left a significant impact. God is sovereign. The man is in heaven with our Father.

Praise Jesus in all things. There will be a day of no more tears and pain.

in memory of Zac Young, for his family and friends

I am reminded of this song as I think of what this young man (Zac) said and did.

Take a stand, take a stand, take a stand
If I never see you anymore
Take a stand, take a stand, take a stand
And I will meet you
On the Kingdom's shore

Pray for me, pray for me, pray for me
If I never see you anymore
Pray for me, pray for me, pray for me
And I will meet you
On the Kingdom's shore

Shake my hand, shake my hand, shake my hand
If I never ever see you anymore
Shake my hand, shake my hand, shake my hand
And I will meet you
On the Kingdom's shore

Keep the faith, keep the faith, keep the faith
If I never see you anymore
Keep the faith, keep the faith, keep the faith
And I will meet you
On the Kingdom's shore

Tell the truth, tell the truth, tell the truth
If I never see you anymore
Tell the truth, tell the truth, tell the truth
And I will meet you
On the Kingdom's shore

Preach the Word, preach the Word, preach the Word
If I never see you anymore
Preach the Word, preach the Word, preach the Word
And I will meet you
On the Kingdom's shore

Run the race, run the race, run the race
If I never see you anymore
Run the race, run the race, run the race
And I will meet you
On the Kingdom's shore

Take your stand, take your stand, take your stand
If I never see you anymore
Take your stand, take your stand, take your stand
And I will meet you
On the Kingdom's shore

Christian surfers funeral service....excerpt

Dave Malvern, regional coordinator for Christian Surfers in Coffs Harbour, read out a note written by Zac in which he described himself as a “passionate follower of Jesus Christ.”
Praising God for Zac Young's life at his funeral today in Coffs Harbour.
Attendees praising God for Zac Young’s life at his funeral today in Coffs Harbour.
What’s my vision?” the note read. “To make disciples of all nations, to preach the gospel to everyone. To see people step into a relationship with Jesus … I’ll be faithful with the little I have here in Port [Macquarie] … and let God have his 100 per cent way.”
