It’s not wrong to be tempted. All of us will be tempted at some point in our lives. We just read that even Jesus was tempted. But, it becomes wrong when we give in to the [HASHTAG]#temptation[/HASHTAG] and do something we know isn’t right.
Here’s the thing about temptation. It looks good at first. It could tempt us toward something we actually want to do, but in reality, it promises something that it can’t deliver.
When we give in to it, we buy into a lie. Temptation will lead you to do wrong — whether it be to cheat on a test to get a good grade or to lie to your parents so you don’t get in trouble.
We need to learn to recognize when we’re being tempted to do something that we know isn’t right, and give it over to God. He can give us the strength to overcome.
So, when and where do you feel like you are being tempted? What things do you need to give to God and get strength from Him to do what’s right?
Spend the next few moments praying to God about those things. Know that through Him you, can [HASHTAG]#overcome[/HASHTAG]!

Notice, Jesus responded with the Word of GOD (aka "Sword of the Spirit") each time He was tempted.
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ” Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “ ‘He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’ ” Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’ ” Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’ ” Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him. // Matthew 4:1-11
