Parables

I like parables because as stories I find them much easier to understand than other parts of the bible.

Thank you for sharing... I think I may find it easier to pick up my bible a little more often xx

Oooh they're links too :-)

I don't understand the 7 spirits and a swept house??

Can anyone help with this ?

Thanking you xx

Hi Sleepy, that's a tough one, I'm not good with parables, but I'll try to give you an answer.

I think Jesus is saying that when the evil spirit leaves an unbeliever, he comes back with seven more, that much we can understand. Remember Christians don't ever have evil spirits.

I think if we attribute this to our generation, or lives, it means that the world may be clean for a while, but Satan comes back with full force and makes it worse than it was, that is why we have to be vigilant and keep to our Lord and His teachings.

That's my take on it.

God bless
Much love

38 parables, I never was aware of that. Is this information correct? We need a second opinion here.

38 parables indeed. I never counted! Did you?
