The person commonly referred to as the Antichrist is somewhat of a misnomer. The person is only the Antichrist for while he is in the role of the King of Israel, instead of and against, Jesus the rightful King of Israel.

At other times, the person is in different roles, not the King of Israel.

He starts off as the little horn. King of the of the fourth empire in Daniel 7. Which appears to be the EU in its final form.

He then becomes the prince who shall come in Daniel 9:26-27 following Gog/Magog.

At which time, he will be perceived to be the messiah to the Jews who will anoint him the King of Israel, most likely by the False Prophet.

He confirms the Mt. Sinai covenant for 7 years, as required by Moses in Deuteronomy 31:9-13 of all future leaders of Israel.

The Jews and the world will thus think they have entered the Messianic age of peace and safety, 1Thessalonians5:2-3.

3 years 3 months into his reign, thereabouts, he commits the Transgression of Desolation, 2Thessalonians2:4, Daniel 8:12-13.

The Jews will be mortified by his claim to be God and will impeach him from continuing as their King of Israel, ending his time in the role of being the Antichrist.

The revealed man of sin is then killed by outsiders to Israel, as God is angered over his claim of being God, Ezekiel 28:1-10.

The person finds himself in hell mocked, before God in disdain for the person kicks him out of the grave, brings him back to life. Isaiah 14:19-20.

Come back to life, he is the beast of Revelation 13, having just been the mortally wounded and recovered head on the beast. He originates as the 7th king of the fourth empire. And continues for the 42 months as the beast, the 8th king. Revelation 17:10.

Revelation 17:8 makes the connection between the unclean spirit now in the bottomless pit of some un-named former individual to the end times person which the world will witness being killed and come back to life. The end times person will be possessed by the unclean spirit, when the end times person recovers from being mortally wounded.

The transgression of desolation (the Antichrist sitting in the temple) - triggers the Day of the Lord. 2thessalonians2:2

shortly thereafter,

The abomination of desolation (the image made of the beast) - triggers the great tribulation. Matthew 24:15-22.

I know we can set the AntiChrist as the arch villain of the end times. But i think what will be worse, the mindset of those in the world.

Now i understand well, there will be Christians there as well. And im not talking about the true Christians who will survive that holocaust.

No im talking of the false Christians, who will give up all they were taught, and follow the antiChrist. They, who take the mark, just as Eve then Adam ate of the tree, after Satan titillated thier ears. They who will not turn away from thier evil ways, running from one to the next.

And even as the scripture states, " men out of every people, race, language and Nation will stare at their corpses, for three and a half days, not letting them be buried and the people of the world will be glad about it and celebrate the event by giving presents to each other Rev 11:9

( on a positive note, i hope the true Christians will also celebrate the conclusion of God's Words through John )

Actually there is NO antichrist or anti-Christ in Revelation.
The term is only used in the epistles of John referring to people who deny the gospel of the NT = the anointing of the Holy Ghost and Jesus is God the Son who came in the flesh.

Remind me that when you are facing the choice of feeding your family and taking the Mark or suffering , and following God's will.

There Will be the Antichrist -- but it's not mentioned in Revelation.

Look at 1 John 2:18 "Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.".

The Antichrist will make himself known mid-way through the coming 7 yr tribulation period.

The Church won't be here, but there Will be people saved and there will be a great deal of pressure put on people to take the 666 mark of the beast on their forehead or back of their hand in order to survive. And many won't.
And that is found in Rev. 13: 16 - 18.

Just a question . If the church ( God's People ) wont be here , then who is Jesus talking about when He says to Peter. " And the gates of Hell will not prevail against it" Matt 16 : 18

@Bill -- Matthew 16:18 "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it."

Previously -- vs 15 -- Peter was acknowledging that Jesus Christ was the Son of the living God.

vs 17 Jesus was saying that Peter had That knowledge because Of it being revealed to him by 'My Father who is in heaven".

This rock -- the foundation stone of salvation is Jesus Christ -- Peter was used to share Gospel unto salvation with either the Jews or the Gentiles. It was Peter who addressed the huge gathering of Jews in Acts.

So - your question -- Jesus Christ's salvation is Stronger than hell. The keys of the kingdom of heaven is salvation.

In the end -- satan will end up in hell for ever and ever. God Will prevail.

Hope that answers your question.

You didnt answer the question.

If the people ( the church ) vacate the planet .

Then to whom is the scripture written for. " and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

Also, who is the scripture written for about taking the Mark of the Beast.

If all believers are gone, there will be no need to read scripture.

I dont remember Jesus escaping any terrible events that came His way. If we are to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, why would we run away just when everyone need Christians most

@Bill -- It's more the 'when' the Church is taken up by Jesus Christ / the rapture / / 'then to whom is the Scripture written for? 'and the gates of hell will not prevail against it'. That is referring to salvation / the Church. That hell won't be winning.

That satan / hell does Not have power Over. the Church / salvation.

The mark of the beast 666 -- there will be multitudes turning to Jesus Christ during the 7 yrs. tribulation. Those who become believers during that time and to Not take the 666 mark. Scripture tells us that those who Would will be subject to the wrath of God.

There Will be the 144,000 during those 7 years -- they will be sharing Scripture -- salvation comes through faith -- hearing the Word of God. Whether from memory or Bibles that are around.

No, Jesus Didn't escape any terrible events -- He was part of one -- His dying on the cross for us. The rapture Isn't anyone Running away from this life -- it IS Jesus Christ coming in the air to get us.

There's a difference between following the footsteps of Jesus and living a Christ-like life. Following the footsteps Of Jesus is suggesting that we could do the same things as He does. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 'We' are human beings trying to be living a Christ-like life. We are failable humans.

We are Now to be a witness for God through Jesus Christ and the life we are living. No one know When Jesus Christ is gong to come back for His Church / Bride of Christ. / born again believers. What ever name a person wants to use.

And, actually, the 7 yrs are a 2nd chance for God Chosen people -- the non-repentant Jews.

Those who have known of salvation and have rejected Him Will be left here as well as those who simply hadn't made a choice yet. Those who have definitely rejected Won't have a 2nd chance -- those are the ones to will succomb to a strong delusion. They will come up with all sorts of explanations as to what happened to all those people. And those who just hadn't made up their minds yet will probably realize that the Christians who were taken up Were right. It Will be a lot harder to be born again at that time. They will end up dying for their faith. Just like who many who are dying at martyrs Now and in the past. There was a pastor from this country at church recently who's been going to a location in Asia -- people are being beheaded and worse for their faith right now. People are being murdered in front of their families for taking their stand for Jesus Christ. They die knowing that they will be reunited with those family members in heaven. So, the question would be -- do We have that assurance. If we die of a stroke or heart attack or get hit by a mad-man That We will be again with those loved ones and with Jesus Christ.

We need other Christians now to worship with -- we need God as our personal Savior -- made possible Through Jesus Christ.

We need to be good ambassadors for God Now.

Have I answered your question yet?

I dont think you understand my point .

If all the Christians , the born again believers are taken up to Heaven as you believe.

Who will be left to be the 144,000?
Who will be here to shepard the " new " believers ?
Who will be able to Baptise anyone if all who are baptised are gone?

@ Bill -- in Revelation 7 :4 and following -- there are the 144,000 are those from the 12 tribes of the Children of Israel who are sealed -- 12,000 from each tribe. to go to evangelize the rest of the non-repentant Jews.

And , no , I don't understand all of that. I'm not Jewish -- I Am a born again Gentile.

The Jews who evangelized them.

Baptism is not a requirement For salvation.

Besides -- baptism by immersion is simply finding a body of water to submerge a person completely under water when they lay down.

In churches nowdays -- it's usually the pastor who does the baptizing. But Anyone could probably do that -- a born again believer baptizing a new convert.

And a lot -- many of those new believers will be killed / martyred and maybe right along with the person who witnessed to them.

And enough people Will survive that period of time and go into the 1,000 yr reign of Christ. Young adults will grow up and repopulate the world during those years.

And That is all according to Scripture

I disagree with you for those who have definitely rejected God.

Are you familiar with the story of the Commander of Auschwitz, the infamous concentration camp of Germany. He was very much into the power of the devil people who survived Auschwitz stated they referred to him as an animal as he enjoyed tearing into bodies ripping them with his bare hands and bathing in human blood.

During the war the numbers of the Jesuit order were taken to Auschwitz and murdered. While the members of the Jesuit priests were still alive but in Auschwitz the head priest or Superior is they called him had been away and then coming home found the place deserted he wanted to be with his brothers so he broke into the concentration camp to be with them.

The priest was captured and taken in front of Rudolf Hess the commander. And to the shock of the guards the commander allow them to be released because they expected him to murder the priest in his office as he had done so with other people.

After the Allies freed Auschwitz, Rudolph Heiss was captured and taken to Poland. He was deathly afraid of the Polish people as he thought he would be killed in their jail. What the Polish people showed him blew his mind.

For even though he was their prisoner they treated him as a human being and forgiveness. Something he wasn't expecting, and that changed him internally.

He then asked to be seeing by a minister or a priest but no one wanted to hear his confession. Finally he remembered the priest that he released in Auschwitz. And that priest heard his confession.

Rudolf Hess became a Christian before he was hung by the world's Court.

I've tried to tell you before what did scripture States about the Jews. But you won't listen.

Being a Jew has nothing to do with heritage, unless you're considering the heritage of being in love with God. As the scripture States a True Jew is one whose Heart is circumsized.

A True Jew is what the Christians are.

@Bill -- I don't happen to agree with you.

There are Jews who are that by being born a Jew -- Lots of them. A nation of Jews. And there are Jews by religious belief. Jesus Christ was born into the Jewish culture. The Jews are God's chosen people. His Word went to the Jews 1st and Then to everyone else.

In the Old Testament God institutes circumcision in Genesis 17 :9 - 10 "And God said to Abraham; "As for you, you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations.
vs 10 This is My covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: Every male child among you shall be circumcised. and you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between Me and you.

And that is the time when God changes Abram's name to Abraham and Sarai becomes Sarah. And they are also told that Sarah would become a mother in her old age. Isaac would be born. But Sarah got impatient with God's timing. She followed the custom that was allowed at that time. She gave her handmaid to Abraham to father a child with. Thus, Ishmael was born. But Isaac was Also born as God had promised to Sarah. There has been a conflict ever since. Jewish custom vs God's Promise.

Born again believers / Christians do Not become Jews. Jews like everyone else -- come to God through Jesus Christ.

A person can be a Jew and be outwardly circumcised but not be a Jew inwardly. A Messianic Jew is one who is a Jew and has Also accepted Jesus Christ as their Promised Messiah.

God set aside the Jewish people as His own -- Salvation is for Everyone through the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross, He death, burial and bodily resurrection on the 3rd day.

Hope that helps.
