Are those we permit by our motivation, words, deeds, and our lack of understanding of what God/Jesus means by what is written. Those from which we are delivered are by the grace of God/Jesus through our thanks for His grace for us on the cross.

Sounds like you're saying that attacks by satan that Hurt us is what we permit by our lack of understanding of what God has written in His Word.

which suggests that there are attacks that do Not hurt us Because 'we' have been delivered by the grace of God through Jesus Christ and given Him thanks for His grace on the cross.

So a person simply needs to correctly understand God's Written Word to avoid being hurt by satan's attacks ?!

But satan is going to attack a believer Especially hard simply because a person Is a believer. Since he won't have us in hell with him, he will simply work in us to make us as ineffective in our Christian life as possible. He knows every weakness we have. And he uses them against us whenever possible.

Not everything in the Bible was written by the prophets.

If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
John 10:35-36

@Sue D. There are atacks that, because we are so, in understanding, thankful and grateful for the Grace of God/Jesus, by the grace of God/Jesus get diverted. The enemy won't quit attacking us thankful until we are physically dead. The enemy won't attack a believer as much as he will us who proclaim God/Jesus to all who will listen. He/they will tempt us in every way he can so, when we fail, he can run and tell God how unworthy we are. God does not tempt us. He looks on our heart rather than our failures.
