Do you have any support from other Christians who understand the nature of bipolar. I've suffered from mental illness myself so I know how important it is to have the right support and strategy in place to beat these things.
The name you have used mindonfire does that describe in anyway the feelings you have when you have a episode. If it does I would suggest you change it, for something more positive, perhaps something you aspire to be when you are well.
Most people who suffer long term illness see their illness as part of their identity. For example a person with epilepsy will see themselves as an epileptic, that is just so wrong. They are a person who has a disease called epilepsy. It is so important to make a division between yourself and the illness because this is way God deals with such things. He sends His Word into your life and it acts like a sword to cut the illness off of you and set you free.
When you became a Christian you became an entirely new person on the inside in your spirit. Your spirit was regenerated by the Holy Spirit within you and is always stable. So you now have to learn to live out of your born again spirit and bring your mind, emotions and body under the dominion and rule of the Kingdom of God.
Romans 14:17 says, for the kingdom of God is ... righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. You always have righteousness, peace and joy in the Hoy Spirit on the inside of you no matter what your emotions and body is telling you. But you have to renew your mind with the Word of God (Romans 12:2) to release the life you have in the Holy Spirit into your soul, body.
I noticed in your public profile you did'nt seem to have a Bible no worries, I suppose you can always use an online Bible.
