Here in Australia we have the case of the missing Beaumont Children.

In the Adelaide city of Australia, there lived the Beaumont family. They lived in a suburb near the sea. In 1966 the children decided to go to the beach for the day. They told their parents that they would be back at 4.00pm in the afternoon, and never returned again.
They caught the bus to the beach around 10.am, and were never seen again. The parents were absolutely devastated. One of the parents died soon after, with complete devastation.

There were reports that a man was talking to them on the beach. That was the last anyone ever saw of them again.
To this day no one has had any positive leads to where they may be. They may be dead now, but who knows? Most people believe they were probably molested and murdered.

The questions I am asking.

A If they were killed, why do people do such terrible, evil things?

B Why were these evil people ever born? In my opinion, it would have been best that these type of people were never born, as they cause such heartache to their victims and victims family.

C What will God do to those who take advantage of others, and particularly the little children?

Your comments are welcome, as I have often wandered what God would do to those type of people in these circumstances.

A Usually people who harm others were harmed in the past, too. It does not condone their hurting children, though.

B. No one is born evil, as I said in A, they were probably harmed in the past.

C. As for what God will do, only God knows that. It also depends on if they repent of their sin. As hard as it may be for some of us to swallow, God forgives virtually every sin if the person repents and accepts Him.

God had nothing to do with the terrible things done. Anyone who would harm children or any one else could not possibly know God.

No sin is unforgiveable except that of refusing God's generous offer of total forgiveness through the acceptance of Jesus Christ as your savior and total and sincere repentance of the sin.

Sadly to say, these things happen

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly John 10:10

All this evil acts take place when people allow the enemy influence over their life. But thank God for his mercy and grace for Jesus came to set the captives free.

Luke 19:10 "For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."

These people are lost, we were lost sheep sometime time in our lives.
We need to pray for them.

God will judge them for their acts.

Thank you for all your replies.

Unfortunately there are some people who do these type of things to the children and vulnerable members of society.

There is a person who is under suspicion of the disappearance of the Beaumont Children. He is currently in jail, for other criminal offences. He has been in jail for the last 20 years. Of course, he denies having anything to do with this case, but police authorities require more evidence to convict him. So he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Yes, this criminal case, remains unsolved until a member of the public comes forward with more information. No, real positive leads, as up to date.

God Bless

The reason i believe these things happen is that at the fall sin entered the world since that day man has had evil desires and every person has the potential to do what is wrong, the only thing that keeps the believer from doing these evils is Gods grace. In scripture it says that the mind of man is depraved and that God has left us to our depraved minds but at the same time he has made a way for our minds to be renewed.
We should pray for that family and the man who did it.
May the Grace of our God abound.

Why do people do such things? -
"All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one." (Ro 3:12 citing Ps 14:1-3, 53:1-3, Eccl 7:20). We are born with sin natures because of The Fall. Those who do not seek God, seek evil by default.

Why were these people born? -
Romans 1:19-20 says clearly that God's existence is clearly seen through His observable creation. All men have the power to choose whether or not to seek Him through exercise of our God-given free will. If God stepped in and arbitrarily removed the "bad apples" from the human race before they were born, it would be a violation of His Nature, since He cannot change His mind.

What will God do to these people? -
"'Vengeance is mine' says God, ' I will repay." (Hb 10:30 quoting Deut 32:35). It is not ours to pronounce judgement on these people because the opportunity to repent will always be before them until the moment of death. Only God knows whether or not they will ever repent.
