I have a questions, Um I was in this site and they was saying that those things are false like speaking tongues and laying hands and all that stuff. I believed in tongues and all.
I do speak in tongues when I get the holy spirit I also I have a prophetic gifts and visions I no there real and I no what is like being spoken when someone speak into in a prophetic way and I no there all right and I no one time they say God said he will do it and he did and that is a maricle. I could tell you a crazy stories how I had my vision and I think it crazy when I shared to ppl, but never thought vision can come true that glory to God like that. I believed what the bible say about the spiritual gifts. I do believed people can be heal in the name of Jesus from laying hands I no demon can be cast out in the name of Jesus they are all and the way ppl pray and I believed that people dance in the spirit that is all part of the charismatic movement. I think the chararismatic movement keep the church alive not dead I rather go to a church that is alive and make me feel God moving around me and heal not keeping God outmg: BUT I WANT TO SEE PEOPLE POINT OF VIEW BECAUSE I SAW A SITE THAT SPEAKS AGAINST THE CHARISMATIC MOVEMENT:secret:

There are many false teachings, and the Bible warns us of such. Didn't Jesus lay hands on the sick and heal them? Didn't He also tell us that we, as His followers, would do the same? John 14:12 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do: because I go unto my Father." Doesn't the Bible teach us about the gift of "tongues." Read Acts 2, in particular 2:4 - "And they were all filled with the the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

Anytime you question what others say, just search the scriptures and see what God says. His Word is always the truth.

God is the same yesterday, today and forever! May God pour His blessings upon you and give you the ability to discern.

We have to realize what Jesus said, He said if things are done in the Mighty name of Jesus the resurrected Savior, no one can turn back and say it's not from God.

Charismatic movement is spring time in the church

Charismatic movement is a movement to renew the church and it is a spring time in the church. It is a means of evangeisation. Only those who have real faith can find meaning in all the charisms they practice...so without faith there is no meaning in it...:lightning

Well theyu say that speaking in tongues is of the devil but i don't understand why we keep rebuking the devil if we speak in tongue? If we rebuke the devil nobody would not spoke in tongues? See there are 2 or 3 kind of tongues if you ever heard of a satanic person or a person who is possesse by a demons that sometimes sound more creepite and rougher type of sound. When i heard satanic spoke in tongues to me that kinda scard me:embarasse Its not the same with what christian talk in tongues but just got to no that satan is still an angles and he knows how God works because he use to be heaven and the devil can use people to spaek in the demonic tongues that don't sound nicer but worser but for what i no there is a different from what Christians speaks in

I am always delighted when I hear that someone has started to go to Church. I mean the Christian Chuch founded upon Jesus death and resurrection.

(Not Latter Day, Mary Eddie, Joseph Smith etc)

If folks are attending a fellowship of believers, whatever their name and where-ever they meet, if Jesus is the centre, all is well. Lets not debate about idiosyncratic preferences. These things should not be allowed to divide believers.

I am saying that if Jesus is the centre of any gathering together of Christian believers, that is good, and that is what is biblically required. Gathering together unto Him.

The charismatic movement is not a new thing, as in the last 10 years or so. It has been around for quite a while now, and you must ask yourself how it edifies the Body of Christ. While there are great things that come out of charismatic movements, I think there are some true dangers of it too. As stated in the tongues post, they are only mentioned 3 times in the New Testament, and are called the "least of the spiritual gifts." While tongues is not universal to charismatic churches, you will find it more often than not here. What ends up happening alot of times, is that we tend to end up believing in a 2nd Act of Grace, which is an apostasy. In other words, the people that speak in tongues become the "varsity" squad, while the ones that don't are relegated to the "JV" squad. That is not what the gospel preaches whatsover. This could end up turning a new Christian off to the ministry because he/she has not experienced these things that the "varsity" squad has. Again, we must be very careful to discern between true worship and emotionalism. And the way that we do that is to put ourselves in the place of a new Christian, or a non-believer. What would they think of what happens in your church?

Brother Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14:22.

Well, That I'm glad it dose not say in the bible but seeing satanics people sometimes they do speak in tongues like a possess person and they would say bad words at the sametimes and talk kinda creepie but there a example like that movie "Kid Play' or that chucky the doll that laying hand to the little kid to try to transfer his spirit out from the chucky doll to the flesh of the child thats the way they speak in there tongue because you could see the big different from a Christian tongues and a Satanics tongues because the devil is still an angel but the satanics tongues is evil but the heavenly Tongue is a hold different story which is coming from the holy spirit and demon possess people do speak something different there different from the Godly tongues. I'm just saying that there differen't. But the main part is, is that God don't changes and he is still the same as he was 2,000 years ago so that means he is working with us as it is back then so I wounder why people say it ended 70 AD but thats because I belived because of the catholic church because the catholic church don't seem to much what the book of Corithians, Acts and Peter said its very tranditional and paganisim and I guest it stop God from working but thats how i looked at it:embarasse

Well I haven't been around people who delve in satanatic stuff, so I can't really answer that. Personally, I think most of us has had devil spirits within us, before turning to Christ and excepting him as our Lord and saviour, we were just not aware of it, because we were all blinded by this world. So it's just a matter of time in getting them all out in Jesus' name. Speaking and asking our Father to take anything nasty which is within us out of us, so that we can have that perfect relationship with the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ.

The one scripture which came to mind, when I was discussing this same subject to a fellow co-worker this morning, this scripture came to my mind.

Luk 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

Last week, I went through a battle with this, I had doubts going through my mind too, it wasn't nice. Especially when I was also told, by another fellow co-worker that witches speak in tongues too.

But I stood strong, prayed and spoke to my Father about it.

Yes, but its different there is a big different from a satanic tongues then a Christian tongues. Because the devil will try to copy God and its systems that I am aware of and I have had heard of satanics person who was speaking a demonic tongues because as for right now it is not coming from the holy spirit that tonguse was spoke straight at me and it kind a scared me there tongues sound very creepie and it kind panic memg: :embarasse :embarasse and they would say bad words at the sametime and that how I know there is a big, big.big differents from God thats how hateful satan is:embarasse
