We are all equal. God has no respecter of persons.
Acts 10:34-"Then Peter opened his mouth. and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that fears him, and works righteousness, is accepted with him."
His blessings and his abundant life is grace for all.
Matthew 5:45- "That you may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he makes his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust."
We are all one. We all have the same choice.
Romans 10:12- "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him."
When the bible says that God is no respector of persons, it means He does not look at a persons attributes and favors them because they are pretty or rich or whatever. However this does not mean that God does not chose some people over others. The thing is, God did not chose the elect based on what they look like or have, or based on their own works or what they by themselves are like.
The chosen or elect are people who God formed to be the elect. They are chosen because they are the clay that God formed to be for that purpose in His will. They are predestined to be conformed into the image of Jesus and they will look like Jesus, they will bare fruit, they will be saved, they will inherit because God made them to that end- it is not because they choose or they work or they on their own do anything. It is also not because as many like to say God looked into the future to see what they would do and chose them based on what He knew they would do. That would be of their works and that is not what the bible says God did.
Rom 9:10 And not only [this]; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, [even] by our father Isaac; (For [the children]
being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil,
that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that callethIt was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved,
but Esau have I hated.
What shall we say then? [Is there] unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses,
I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
So then [it is] not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will [have mercy], and whom he will he hardeneth.Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault?
For who hath resisted his will?Nay but, O man,
who art thou that repliest against God?
Shall the thing formed say to him that formed [it], Why hast thou made me thus?Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?[What]
if God, willing to shew [his] wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
Pro 16:4
The LORD hath made all [things] for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
Jud 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares,
who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
God has elect people from every worldly nation, He does not favor based either on one being a gentile or physical jew because He has formed them to be His elect to fulfil His purpose and He saves them and delivers them into His kingdom.
Those who fear the Lord and have faith in the Lord and work rightousness do so becuase those are gifts of God given to those people by God. No man can repent unless God grant them repentance and it is not given to all, just as none can come unless the Lord draws them and calls them and all are not called. the word says many are called few are chosen.
The doctorine that are all called is not true and never is it said in the word, the word says many called- few chosen.Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few [are] chosen.
It is true that God is merciful to the just and unjust to the wicked and the rightous- just because He is merciful to send them rain and give them food sometimes, does not mean that they all get a " chance" and a " choice". No one deserves a " chance" or a " choice" flesh is emnity with God and it cannot itself choose God. It is God who changes us, calls us, grants us repentance, and gives us the gift of grace and faith to be saved.
God has formed out of clay, vessels of dishounor to be used for wickedness and He created them for the day of evil. They were never meant to be saved and they never get a " chance". He does not take pleasure in their destruction but He uses them for the good of His elect and to show forth His wrath. without these people, the elect would have no one to persecute them or hate them or chasten them and this is what God uses them for in our lives for our good.
God also formed vessels of honour to show forth His glory, to be conformed into the image of His son becuase it is Sons of God that God wants out of this creation. All things in this creation He uses for the good of these elect vessels of dishonour.
People like to believe it was themselves that chose God, that changed, that did the work that saved them but that is a false gospel albeit the popular one.
We do not know who the vessels of honor and dishonour are- we are to pray for everyone and bring the word to people so that if the Lord calls them they can be saved and if they are not called, the word they have heard finds them guilty. We walk by faith that we are elect however our fruit will prove if we indeed are or not.
