The coming permanent solar eclipse over Israel

Isaiah 16

1 Send ye the lamb (((Jesus))) to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.
2 For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.

This shadow at noon day is the permanent solar eclipse sent by Jesus to help Israel.

3 Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.

4 Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.

5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he (((Jesus))) shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.

Habakkuk saw the permanent solar eclipse start before Armageddon.

Habakkuk 3:11-13
11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.
12 Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.
13 Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.

Isaiah also saw the sun hide behind the moon that stoped in the heavens over Israel.

Isaiah 24:21-23
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

Isaiah described the solar eclipse which will continue through the kingdom age.

19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee:
but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

There are more passages that describe the solar eclipse over Israel but these are enough to be believed.

There are some who think this could be the New Jerusalem, (some believe it will rest on the Earth) others believe it will float above the Earth.

20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.
21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.
1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

After the tribulation the Gentiles will come to Israel and look up to see the New Jerusalem, which will be suspended between the earth and the moon over Israel.

3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

Amos 8:1-2, 9
1 Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.
2 And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.

9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:

In the last days, knowledge would increase (Daniel 12:4). Today, we are able to calculate the positions of the sun, moon, and stars at any given point in time, from anywhere on our planet. According to NASA, there will be a total solar eclipse over Egypt, but visible from Jerusalem Israel, and its darkest moment from Jerusalem is exactly 12:00 PM Israel Standard Time. In light of Amos 8:1-2, Amos 8:9 and Isaiah 16:3, this is very interesting....

The solar eclipse occurs during the summer, which will relate to Amos 8:1-2, with the basket of "summer fruit".

If you read Amos 8:8, Egypt is mentioned in the context: Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as [by] the flood of Egypt.

The flood here can resemble a mobilized army. For an example, see Jeremiah 46-7-10, used of Egypt. In the latter years, Gog, or Russia, the king of the north, will be occupying Egypt (Isaiah 19:4, Daniel 11:42). This prophecy in Amos is another reference to Russia striking Israel in the battle of Armageddon. The land will tremble, which is a mighty earthquake in the land. The people in the land of Israel are cast out (as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, Isaiah 16:2. That is why the lamb, Christ, in Isaiah 16:1, is sent from the wilderness to the mount of the daughter of Zion. In Isaiah 16:3, God makes his shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday!).

What is the Biblical significance of the solar eclipse that occurs at 12:00 PM? It is very likely that this solar eclipse is designed by God, and we were not able to discover it until now. If you put all of the prophecies together, it will become apparent that the solar eclipse is identifying when Jesus Christ intervenes on behalf of the Jews in the battle of Armageddon. Consider the following:

Zechariah 14:2 - For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken... This is a reference to Armageddon. The parallel verse is found in Revelation 16:16 - And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. What happens before this? Jesus returns! Revelation 16:15 - Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed [is] he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

The return of Jesus and the gathering of nations to Armageddon are 6th vial events. These events must occur before any 7th vial events. That is how we know what order to expect these events to happen. The solar eclipse will occur during the 7th vial, and not the 6th vial, so we cannot say that this eclipse means it is the day Jesus returns! One feature of the 7th vial events is as follows:

Revelation 16:18 - ...and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, [and] so great.

Compare this with what we read in Zechariah 14:4-5 - And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which [is] before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee [to] the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah...

The Mount of Olives splitting in two is a 7th vial event, because it will be the epicenter of the greatest earthquake in history. Remember, that Jesus has already returned in the 6th vial, so he is already here to accomplish this 7th vial event along with the saints.

Zechariah 14:5 - ...and the LORD my God shall come, [and] all the saints with thee.

Jesus had already returned in order to resurrect the saints from the dead. On the day that Jesus stands on the Mount of Olives, there will be a solar eclipse visible from Jerusalem.

Zechariah 14:6 - And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the light shall not be clear, [nor] dark: (KJV).

Other versions translating from the Septuiagint version will say "no light, cold, or frost". The translations following the Hebrew text will say in effect "the bright ones shall withdraw themselves". If we stick to the Hebrew, the same word "yaqar", translated "clear" in Zechariah 14:6, appears in Job 31:26 translated as "brightness", speaking of the moon.

Job 31:26 - If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking [in] brightness;

Therefore, it is safe to assume that in Zechariah 14 there is an obscuration of the sun and moon, most likely a literal solar eclipse.

Zechariah 14:7 - But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, [that] at evening time it shall be light.

If the darkness occurs at noon (Amos 8:9, Isaiah 16:3), and the light appears again at evening time, the earth will have to shake quite a bit! Isaiah states the following:

Isaiah 13:10,13 - For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine...Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

Ezekiel tells us what will happen in "the day of his fierce anger" in Ezekiel 38, an Armageddon chapter.

Ezekiel 38:18-20 - And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, [that] my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy [and] in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that [are] upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

Every tall building falls to the ground because the earth is removed out of its place. The darkness starts at noon, and the light appears again at evening time. Christ himself tells us what happens in the mean time.

Matthew 24:29 - Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Christ was sitting on the Mount of Olives when he said this. When he stands on the Mount of Olives, the solar eclipse will darken the sky from noon to evening time in Jerusalem, and in the mean time the stars shall fall from heaven because the earth is removed out of its place.

Matthew 24:30 - And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Notice that the tribes of the earth are mourning after this. Now, notice the context of Amos 8 also mentions the people mourning as well!

Amos 8:9-10 - And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day: And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only [son], and the end thereof as a bitter day.

In Zechariah, it was established earlier that the immortalized saints are already present. Another picture of these saints coming to the rescue is given to us by the prophet Joel.

Joel 2:7-11 - They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and [when] they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp [is] very great: for [he is] strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD [is] great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

In Joel, there is a picture of an earthquake and the sun and moon being darkened. This picture was also found in Isaiah, Amos, Zechariah, and Matthew./Mark. It is also found in the prophet Habakkuk, Jeremiah, and in Psalms as well.

Habakkuk 3:10-11 - The mountains saw thee, [and] they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, [and] lifted up his hands on high. The sun [and] moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, [and] at the shining of thy glittering spear.

Jeremiah 4:23-24 - I beheld the earth, and, lo, [it was] without form, and void; and the heavens, and they [had] no light. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

Psalms 18:7,9-11 - Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth... He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness [was] under his feet. And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him [were] dark waters [and] thick clouds of the skies. (Remember from Matthew 24:30 that Christ comes in the clouds of heaven?)

Note that in Habakkuk 3:11, "The sun [and] moon", the word "and" is inserted by the translators and is absent from the Hebrew. It is the only time "sun" and "moon" are together in the original Hebrew Masoretic text with no modifiers. Also note that the Hebrew word for "stood still" is not as strict. It is the same word that is used in Joshua 10:13, translated as the moon "stayed", which is a different Hebrew word used of the sun which "stood still". The Young's Literal Translation notes these differences is as follows:

Sun -- moon -- hath stood -- a habitation, At the light thine arrows go on, At the brightness, the glittering of thy spear.

It could be the case that the sun and moon move in such a way, that, from Jerusalem, they appear to stay together in the sky from noon until evening time. At evening time, or "at the light", "at the brightness", the arrows go on...

So, to wrap up, in case you were wondering, the solar eclipse will occur on Monday, August 2, 2027.

Revelation 16:10-11
10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Think about this darkness before Armageddon and tell me what you come up with please.

I would like to point out that this is not the natural sun or moon as verse 19 says, but the visible glory and presence of the Lord shining out of His saints who are with the Lord in the clouds/air..
The New Jerusalem suspended in the air and on the earth (later) is the saints in their glorified immortalized bodies with the glory of God shining out of them:

Rev 21: 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

Just as the church is the people not the building, this city is not a physical building but the church, the Body of Christ, the Bride of Christ.
In other words, it is the sum total of Christ dwelling in and shining out of all the believers.

Glimpses of this future shining glory were seen in Moses and in the transfiguration of Jesus:

Exo 34:35 "The Israelis would see the face of Moses and that the skin of his face shone;..."
Matt 17:2 There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light.

John 5:35 "John was a lamp that burned and gave light, and you chose for a time to enjoy his light."

Prov 4:18 "The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day."

Luke 11:36 "If you are filled with light, with no dark corners, then your whole life will be radiant, as though a floodlight were filling you with light."

The billions of saints will be in the clouds with the Lord in shining glorified immortal bodies:
1 Thessalonians 4:17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

1 Tim 6:16 "who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen."

2 Cor 5:4 For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.

"sings" "Jesus wants me for a sunbeammmm"

James,

Yes it will be the glory of Jesus in the New Jerusalem and the saints that give light over Israel during the kingdom age.

My point is that even though the sun won't set and the moon won't withdraw they won't give light to Israel. The sun and mood will be in solar eclipse with the New Jerusalem suspended between the earth and the moon.

If the sun stays over Israel, America's side of the earth will become an ice cap!

Revelation 16:10-11
God will judge the kingdom of antichrist with darkness.

Do you get it?

I believe this is some of the sealed up understanding of end time prophecy that won't be understood till the time of the end. Daniel 12:8-10

After reading some of your other posts, I take it that you think the beast spoken of here is America. The beast spoken of here is Daniel's fourth beast. The beasts represent kingdoms: Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome (the fourth)... The beast, therefore, is Rome, not America. Rome has been around for over 2,000 years, destined to be conquered by Christ and the saints, which is why a continuous historical interpretation of the Book of Revelation makes the most sense to me. Time periods such as "42 months" represent larger epochs of time, in this specific case, 1260 years. Revelation is illustrating 3,000 years of history from John the Apostle in 96 AD to the little season at the end of the Millennium and beyond. Much of the Book of Revelation can be explained if you take a look at the history of Rome and Europe.

The first five vials treat with judgments on Europe. They are a picture of the decline of the Holy Roman Empire shortly after the French Revolution in 1789. The civil and religious authority of the beast at this time was vested in the Emperor of Austria and the Pope of Rome. These were the two horns of the lamb that spoke as a dragon. When the fifth vial was poured on the throne of the beast, the civil and religious horns were removed from power by Napoleon (Pope Pious VII was Pontiff). Without leadership, the kingdom plunged into anarchy, or "darkness". The darkness spoken of here in particular is not a solar eclipse, but a symbol of political anarchy.

I believe that America will be the 11th horn that comes out of or is a colony of Rome. I believe that America will be the kingdom of antichrist which will up root three of the ten horns (Ezekiel 38 & 39)
