“The Cost of Discipleship”
Well, in answering the question, it is “LIGHT” and ever so “BRIGHT” but It is kinda easy because it is share by a “Yoke”.Amen, that a stark message our Lord tells us about the cost to following Him.
My dear brother, how is your cross feeling?
Is it heavy and weighing you down, or have you
casted your burdens to the one whose yoke is easy and burden light?
Love and God bless.
Now can you see?
That is what you call Impromptu preaching,
You can preach by a hand written sermon word for word.
You can preach by a outline sermon.
And you can preach what so called “Impromptu” hot off the wire. But Theological sound that cannot be Reputed.
You learn it all.
It “Disciplines” you and Takes you out of The equation. It humbles you as well!
And makes you more Discipline and keen [horne] you more to The Word.
Do you play Golf?
I cannot play anykind of Instrument I wanted to, but I could sing and read music and directed man’s church chorus and a few times church choirs. lead “soloist”. Many times. but never, as A main occupation.Yes, I see indeed. Amen. The light burden of "light" shared by a yoke.
I actually do not play golf.
I tried once in high school but noticed that if
I didn't get lessons I would be messing up my back
so I stopped.
I played tennis for my school high,
and flag football in college intramural,
and unofficial ping pong club president in college,
and chess club president in high school and currently chess instructor to children in my county.
and I cycle for fun, did 2 centurys while in college (100 mile bike ride).
I play these sports but never on a formal team
soccer, volleyball, basketball, track
And I'm aware of some martial arts,
Wanted to wrestle in high school but uniforms were too tight (no comment),
and my brother wrestled and did Karate in high school,
and he taught me some stuff. I use to watch MMA, but I stopped
due to feeling convicted, but I like the art aspect of martial arts.
I'm a visual learning and muscle mimic.

Amen, well said.Matthew 11:29-30 KJV
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
