While I study my bible I fall in love with Mathew 5 - 7, The Sermon on the mount. I find myself reading it almost daily, I always want to turn to it and read it over and over. When I finish the Sermon I believe that Christ contained his whole message in this Sermon. To me it has no beginning or ending, I know until my last day I will never grow tired of it. Its perfection.
When surfing on the net I noticed a quote from Muhatma Ghandi it said something like that the Sermon on the mount if followed was the only way to world peace and peace within ourselves.
I went out and bought the dvd to learn about his life. I found out he gave up his riches and earthly life to follow Christ. The impact he had on people and the earth around him was amazing.
He did this by following this Sermon. By following Christ's every word.
I looked around for other people who had dedicated thier life to Christ, and found not one. I was wondering if anyone here knows of a person like this who has dedicated his whole mind and soul to GOD. Leaving the earthly system totally behind.
I still feel that Christ wants this from each and everyone of us, if we dont leave the earthly system behind, then we are not his children, but we are lovers of this system of things.
