You know when we go onto a plane,we are given a choice,we can ride in the general seats,or we can ride in first class,in first class,the seats are more comfortable,we get greater attention,we have more leg room,the food is better as well. BUT!! we have to pay for it!! What I am about to tell you,I do so in all love,I have been kicked out of a few churches in my time,because they do not want to hear the real truth about our Jesus,they want to be babied and put to sleep,and as you know most Churches are asleep!When I came to Jesus like many of you,it was really becuase,I was just tired of running,my life was such a mess!I thought well I have done everything that I myself could,and nothing has worked,perhaps I will give Jesus a try!! humm try? You see no one told me of the cost of serving Jesus,be saved and be happy in the Lord,is what I heard. So thinking after giving my life to Jesus I was going to have a wonerful time now,I did! Lord I repent of all my sins,take my life and make it yours to your glory amen. I sure felt better at the time!! many gathered around me to pat me on the back,you sure made the right discision! BOY!! is your life going to turn around now! IT SURE DID!! I lost all my friends,I lost my family, they thought I had gone nuts!,many of my worldly treasure were lost,OH!! I was having a great time now saved!! So I thought well,What is this Bible? I was not shown anything but the good parts,is there any bad parts? And DEAR LORD!! what promises did I accept? For as one finds out the hard way like I did,as there are many good parts to the Word,ah there is some tough parts in the Word as promises as well! Like mark 13:13!! YOU WILL BE hated by ALL because of my name,BUT!!! the one who ENDURES to the END,HE!!! will be saved!! HEY!!! I did not hear this in any sermon! No one told me the cost!! I my brothers and sister had to find out for myself! I was spit on,beaten,even thrown out of some churches,because I dared to tell them what the REAL cost is! Oh Mark that is to strong,we may lose membership,brother mark you do not understand how we do things here in this Church! I do not want to write you a long messege here, because if i were to explain everything to you,why Dear LORD!! It would take a book!! There is no better life then in Jesus,this I can tell you,but it costs! That is why the Word of God is so inpotant to read! My pockets are love on the right,and truth on the left,for love is given to both sides,but those who walk in both recieve greater attention,and because they have chosen to endure till the end,no matter what happenes to them,they are the ones, the few,who can make it.To any new believer I start by telling them the cost! I was talking to a good brother this morning,and he wanted to hear this truth,so i told him.It is hard,it is not always without sufferning! It is not always nice,why being a follower of Jesus can be frightening depending on where you live!! But it is only frightening to those who have not counted the cost of service to Jesus.A LIFE,FOR A LIFE.( rom 14:8) FOR IF!! we live,we LIVE FOR THE LORD!! or if we die, we die we die for the Lord;therfore whether we live or die,we are the Lords! Jesus died giving us life in him,he rose from the dead so that our live would have both purpose to it,and meaning for others,even as Jesus himself,and since we are in Christ,and he is in us,we to should be treated the very same as he was,and through Jesus we shall obtain the same results as he did! Being with HIM forever! IF!!! we endure till the end! My goal is to get you into the Word! trust the Word,look to the WORD,depend upon the WORD,The Bible can do us no good on a shelf,it has no value up there! The cost to have your needs meet,the cost to have peace of mind and body,comes from paying the cost to recive these things! making the Word part of YOU! Someone points a gun at you,what do you do? They say if Jesus is the Christ, then how will he save you from me? I am already dead sir,Jesus is my Lord and Saviour, so if you shoot me i will go on to be with him forever much sooner then I expected,which is just fine with me! WHAT?? You have no more power then my Jesus will allow you to have!! This happened to a dear women in the church,who was about to be rapped at gun point! You will not take me sir,I rebuke you in the name of Jesus! May the very power of my LIVING GOD come upon you this very hour!! YEP!! that is what she said!! he turned from her and ran!! when great fear struck him!! This is counting the cost!! and the results from doing so!! a GREAT!!!! FIRST CLASS RIDE WITH JESUS!! So today,will you ride in coach,or will you pay the price and ride in a first class Seat in Jesus?? That answer my brothers and sisters only you can answer! But I will tell you in all truth, as tough as it is,it is worth the COST!! It sure has been for me!! Blessing to you all!!
