In all of my years but also as a young as a child, I had many dreams but not one vision, until now the last 30 years until this very day with major events.
To understand Dreams and Vision, Vision is Night Visitors.
Dreams have three levels, the first one is fleshly dreams of the mind, the second dreams are called dirty dreams which come from, the kingdom of darkness, and the third are dreams from Lord.
fleshly dreams are normal dreams
a dirty dream is from Satan can cause sleep Paralysis and visitation.
A visitation from an angel of darkness has a foul odor, this odor is called wormwood.
Luke 8:2 evil foul spirits and infirmities--Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons.
Mark 9:25 unclean spirit, saying "Deaf and dumb spirit.
Mark 1:27 unclean spirits, the spirit of infirmity "
Luke 13:11 a spirit of infirmity seducing spirit
1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,

Psalms 139:10-12 Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. If I say, "Surely the darkness shall fall on me," Even the night shall be light about me; Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You.
Illumination is the third dream from the Lord.
The Lord Illumination an object that you can see and feel, the atmosphere around you is visitation feeling a breeze of calmness.
Heb 10:32-36 But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings:
partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated; for you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven.
Therefore, do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.
For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:
Illumination is the key to wakeup the one that is asleep
With Illumination comes Revelation, then wisdom to understand it the Revelation for your Illumination.
1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
Daniel 12:2-3 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.
Ephesians 5:14-16 Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light."
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

These are called night visitors or visitation REEM SLEEP.
As I was asleep all my dreams are some awake, about from always 4 am to 5: 30 am I experience, some kind of strange Phenomenon, a dream state event or out-of-body experience which is called ecstasy.
Dreams that come from the Lord, always come in the early morning so that they are fresh in the mind, and that is when Satan attack to steal your dreams
