Why does the inverted cross oppose the normal upright cross that Jesus Christ was crucified upon?
What spiritual significance does it hold for Christians?
Does wearing a normal cross make you a Christian?
Why does the Satanist wear an inverted cross?

1. I don't know. Supposedly Peter was crucified on an upside down cross. This was allegedly his choice, not to be crucified in the same way Jesus was.
2. The cross is the symbol of the place Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God, the sinless Lamb that was slain, and paid the price for our sins. His blood was shed there to pay our debt for sin.
I don't worship the cross, but the cross is on most Christian churches as a symbol.
3. No, but many Christians wear a cross.
4. Php 3:18; For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ,
Weird that they never wear an inverted Shiva, or Buddha, or Mohammed, or Ik Onkar. I wonder why? Weird that out of all the religions in the world, only Jesus and the cross offends them.

1Cor 1:18; For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Col 1:20; and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.
Col 2:14; having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
1Pet 2:24; and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.

Heb 9:22; And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
Rev 1:5; and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood
Matt 26:28; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.

1Cor 1:23; but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness,
1Cor 2:2; For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.

Why not have an image of Jesus, instead of a cross, as the symbol?
Exod 20:4; "You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth.

This is a point of contention between Protestants and Roman Catholics who believe Mary is in heaven. There are plenty of statues of Mary around.

Isa 53:5; But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed.
Isa 53:6; All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him.
Isa 53:11; As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, As He will bear their iniquities.
Isa 53:12; Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the booty with the strong; Because He poured out Himself to death, And was numbered with the transgressors; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the transgressors.

2Cor 5:21; He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Heb 13:12; Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate.
Heb 13:20; Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord,

In these days usually if you want to protest something you don’t like “turn it upside down” as a symbol of disagreement.

So the cross of Christ is central to the redemption of Humanity 1Cor 1:18 but is anathema to the unsaved. Yes B-A-C.
The symbol of the Cross is a sign of allegiance to Jesus…Yes?

“Petrine Cross, or Cross of St. Peter. Depending on the intention of using it, the inverted cross is either a sign of Christian faith or of satanic symbolism.”
What Does an Upside Down Cross (Inverted) Really Mean?

Saint Peter's cross is often inverted too - as it was during the Satanic Temple's unveiling ceremony.

"This inversion is Satan's perception. It asks people to reconsider their cultural grounding, look at the evidence and reconsider their values,"
Decoding the symbols on Satan's statue

In a fallen world, Satan and his cronies as Curtis said turn everything good on its head. “As above so Below” is the catchphrase today is it not?

Because of these verses.

Matthew 10:38 - And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.

Luke 9:23 - Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.
