Many of my friends have gone to see this. Almost all of them liked it. I myself have not gone yet, so I can't say too much.
One of the things the movie doesn't really come out and tell you is that Lonnie Frisbee was gay.

It appears that Greg Laurie and others knew this, but continued to let him preach in the church anyway ( at least for two years or so ).
It also appears that a lot of the "Jesus People" movement came out of drug use by the leaders. Many also supported "free love" non committal sexual relationships.
