The main aim of life

You are admitted in the college and your main aim is to get the degree. If you fail in the exams your main aim is upset, therefore, you should not get tension. Similarly you should have tension if the main aim of the human life i.e., to achieve the grace of God, fails. Except that, all this family life and relationships are only extra curricular activities. In your college life, a game is conducted as an extra curricular activity. Suppose you are defeated in it.

You should take it sportively and not seriously, because that is not the main aim. Therefore take everything in life sportively, because, this life is not the ultimate aim. If family life only is the goal, even animals and birds have their family lives. The speciality of human life is to think and achieve the grace of God.

Read several of your postings now. Reminded of a once friend, Richard Alpert, later known as Bhagwan Ram Das. Richard was a close friend, if he truly had any, of Timothy Leary. Once he fried all the best of his dendrites & receptors on LSD he got into something more manageable for him: nothingness. For more information [though there's precious little in it] you can check out his book, bearing a most hilarious title, 'Be here now'.

The screamer is the entire book is not only about how NOT to be here now, or any other time: it's a literal roadmap leading to how not to be anywhere, anyhow or anytime! In that world of swirling mumbo-jumbo mysticism the trick is to make 3/4 statements with a gaping space at the end. Oftentimes one finds couplets or one-liners designed to stumble the mind. The idea is only to cause another to question their beliefs, yet without supplying actual fact or substance into the challenge. It's just like telling a joke without the punchline.

It is the exact form used by Satan when he confronted Jesus after His 40 day fast in the wilderness, and the same Satan used with Eve: "Did God really say....?".

It may take a while to figure it out, but most often those using this form are entirely lacking in genuine proofs, facts, substance or much of anything that is provable as known to base their own life on. Their own personal void and lack got them there in the first place, and they're passing the bowl of salad on to another. Truth be known, it's all so very terribly empty that there are no main courses to complete the appetizer. There's NO FOOD there at that table! One's mind is starved for want of actual substance. Nothingness follows. They're anxious to share it because they cannot stand being alone in the vacuum of the void.

I want, even demand, a Belief that is provable, known by its fruits and genuine to infinite degree. That is: something I can not only hang on to, or cover myself with; but something that has so much worth and value and substance in and of itself that I may simply pour my own life into its Life as It pours into me. Beyond that it becomes the sole food & nourishment as the Bread of Life for my entire existence, and the Living Water needed to sustain life.

Further, the actual factual Truth of this Belief has been known and shared and witnessed by countless thousands for centuries. It is of a magnitude to restore one who is dead back to life, not only in the spritual sense but in the physical as well. It is a Belief whereby miracles are its proofs: that those things that are simply impossible beyond doubt in the physical world are regularly seen as corroboration of the fact of it.

There is only one Belief I'm aware of where the dead are seen to rise, the sick & maimed are seen as miraculously fully healed, where the paralyzed are restored to motions, where the blind receive their sight, where the crippled are seen to walk, where the insane are restored to sanity, where the fool is transformed to a man of wisdom, and where those entirely bereft of hope are given a life and an existence beyond their wildest dreams. The Belief I speak of has a name:

Jesus.

You won't find much in the way of circular, dangling, incomplete, intentionally confusing, pseudo-mystical, pseudo-intellectual spiritual silliness there, like the devils offer: just the REAL THING and more of it than any one human being can ever imagine.

What say ye?
