I could only take about 12 min of this very terrible movie! The beginning is fine, then as the scribes go past Jesus,Jesus asks where are they going? Then walking with John the Baptist,Jesus wonders at what John the Baptist heard in the desert?? Are you kidding me?? That was it for me brothers and sisters!

That was all I could take. The movie looks at Jesus like he was just one of us? I am very glad I did not buy the book! The movie was bad enough for me!! An all knowing Jesus, not knowing?? This movie is not only a fraud in its content, but insults believers! The movie plays Jesus as a mere man who somehow acquired certain gifts,as if by some miracle or something, when Jesus himself is our own miracle!!

Bill OReily who somehow directed a part of this movie, indeed has brought eph 4:27 to bear on himself,as well as those who played a part in this horrible deception of a Living God! History was not born of man,but of God himself, you will not find correct history written by any man except those touched by God himself in the Bible! I cannot tell you as true believers to watch a fraud production of the life of the only true God!

You can be sure that I will NOT be watching this when it comes to our television screen. I have given up hope of anyone producing a fiar account of Jesus' life in this age of utter darkness and apostasy. We have the scriptures, and we do not need entertainment enterprises to try to bring life to something that they themselves are dead toward.

Yea, I was really disappointed! I read the the book first and struggled with the movie...thank you Hollywood to mess up a good thing. It is tough standard when you compare a movie to the written word, but I do remember all of Cecil B. De-mill's old movies....they seem to have been more Biblically correct, but still Hollywood!
O' Reilly has said is was a historical movie and not a religious but what was his authority to base the movie on. There were so many discrepancies to point out, it is useless to discuss them all. One in particular, the movie depicted Pilate as ordering the crucifixion of Jesus, as apposed to him giving the crowd a choice between Jesus and Barabbas! This way Pilate absolved himself and washed his hands, so not to be blamed! I won't use the movie as one of my treasure troves!

LOL RJ!!!! I hear ya brother!! How is it a person who is not a believer, plays the role of one?? LOL I found this most odd.For if you do not know the man Jesus, as who he truly is God and Savior, how is it you look to play someone you do not know?? I know! Like the king of Egypt in the Ten Commandments said " don't bother me with trifles"" LOL Blessing bro!!
