THE NEVERENDING LIGHT

He knew me then
When I was ten
He knows me still
As I do His will
He loves me more when I am ill
He gives me grace
In His loving embrace
As I run in this race
In His strength I abide
I know I'll survive
Because in His word my faith is alive
Singing praise His word I spread
To all the world
Till He comes again
All the days He gives me bread
And a safe place to rest my head
Shadowed by His love I wont be afraid again
Saved from tribulations
I will follow You
To my new home in the sky
To this world I am no longer glued
He comes swiftly in an instant
So be ready for the river of life does flow
In neverending light that makes my spirit glow
In His arms I derive
The best of me will strive
To be the person He wants me to be
To be a beautiful fruitfull tree
In His ways I shall walk
