As I slept exhausted on the couch there was a word that came into my spirit. It was STRONG, becoming almost an annoyance, pressing and an aggravation as it rolled around and around in my mind like a towel tumbling in a dryer. But the word was in all capital letters and seemed to be right before my eyes. Often the Holy Spirit will use a pressing demand so that we can't fail to examine what he is revealing to us. The Lord as it were, was shouting the word to me. It was so strong in my consciousness that it was in the front of my mind and when I awoke I copied and expanded the dictionary definition.
Regardless of how it is implemented against us it is the chief means by which our adversary fights us. The means by which he kills, steals and destroys. He keeps on and on and on. He has many weapons but the continual assault is the overall directive. He cannot prevail in the very end but he is come down to us in great wrath to destroy whoever he can.
Amazingly and sadly Satan will use other Christians to attempt to pull you down because you are not of their denomination.
1 Peter 5:8 KJVS
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
I asked Jesus a day or two ago about the punishment of our enemy and if those things written in Revelation was the first punishment he and his would receive.
Revelation 20:10 KJVS
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are , and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
We fight;
Revelation 12:10-11 KJVS
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
[11] And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
The Lord replied back to me and didn't hesitate. He said;
"My name and my word will punish him every time it is spoken... Under the abointing. When he is rebuked in my name and anointing of my Holy Spirit he and his legions shrink back in fear at the very mention of Jesus ."
He once gave me a scripture from the book of Daniel.
Daniel 5:6 ISV
While the king watched the back of the hand as it was writing, his facial expression changed. Utterly frightened, he lost control of his own bowel and his knees knocked together.
In this he showed me that our adversary acted just as Belshazzar did when the writing appeared on the wall. His knees knocked together and had he a body he would have fouled his garments. A created being must fear their creator. Except for foolish humans that say... "there is no God!"
So then let's us speak that wonderful name of Jesus. Amen, for truly;

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
If you are not being assaulted by the devil then why? Not being attacked by the prince of the power of the air is frightening. It means something is wrong in your life. If you are a soldier of the cross you will be forced by circumstances to engage the enemy. If you are a denominational pew warmer, lukewarm and unfilled with the Holy Spirit, perhaps even unsaved, then you will be unaware that a pitched battle in the heavenlies is going on all around you.

In this directive of attrition he will implement every lie he can concoct. The old lies are quite sufficient and no need for new ones is necessary.
Having observed us all since we were born, he knows our weak points. The things that cause us to fail the quickest. Perhaps fear for our children, attacks on our finances or health. Maybe it's relationships with family or friends. It can be anything in our life. Using others, especially Christian denominationalists, against us is a common ploy.
He will press and oppress with thoughts and emotions that chip and grind away at our Christian resolve if he can. He can if we allow it. IF we don't know it is him.
This why we must be clothed with the full armor of God as described in the 6th chapter of Ephesians. Then it is critical, imperative that we obey Isaiah 21:5.

Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, ye princes, and ANOINT the shield.
This anointing is the baptism of, in, with the Holy Spirit as performed by Jesus. Until you are filled to overflowing with the spirit of God, that wondrous Holy Spirit, then you are operating in the strength of your flesh. Flesh CANNOT fight against spirit and ever win.
My heart breaks at the doctrines of most denominations. They preach the getting saved part but deny, often viciously, the completely separate experience of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. (?? Scratching head...) Protestants, so called, enjoy ripping the catholics for their doctrines while they blindly accept the faulted man conceived doctrines, the dogma of their own flawed dismissal of God's word. Truth is that ALL denominations including Roman Catholics were NOT instituted by God. They will fight against the very experiences Jesus commanded and that are abundantly exhibited in the gospels and new testament accounts, testimonies and epistles. Any denomination, group, sect, cult, religious organization that refuses God's words is in fearful and rebellious error. If they wear colorful robes and speak only in Greek or Hebrew and have divinity degrees that stretch on scrolls to the horizon it makes zero, nada difference. PHD without Jesus in his fulness and his spirit baptism only stands for post hole digger.
Bother Jude was very clear on this.

These be they who separate themselves, sensual, HAVING NOT THE SPIRIT.
(denominations separate themselves by their adherence to man's doctrines while turning their backs on God's word)
[20] But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, (praying in the Holy Spirit is prayer in tongues, frowned upon and vilified by a vast majority of DENOMINATIONALISTS... Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Episcopalians, Missionary Baptists, Freewill Baptists, southern Baptists and a host of spinoffs)
Unless you seek God for the fullness of his Holy Spirit and receive it through the Lord Jesus Christ then you will be as a car without an engine. A ship without a sail. A gun without a bullet. Disciples, so called, proclaim themselves to be followers of Jesus but refuse to yield to his plainly spoken, plainly understandable words, Bowing before their denominational Sanhedrin.
No where in the entirety of the New Testament does the Bible state that everything is received from God at salvation. On the contrary, a clearly separate experience is witnessed in several scriptures. This was my biblical experience, receiving the Holy Spirit baptism several weeks after being born again. All without the influence of a man, church, denomination or doctrinal statement or tradition. Amen and HALLELUJAH! This was over 40 years ago.
You will not be able to discern, let alone withstand that attrition that will wear against you without pause. You will not have the spiritual power to resist the assaults of Satan and his demons. But with the Holy Spirit you too can say;
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 KJVS
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

It is that evil attrition that wore down deominational leaders to the point anti-biblical stances, doctrines, traditions were adopted into their churches. The church of God of course is NOT a denomination created by men. Rather than be joined together as many sticks denominations promote their anti-scriptural doctrines and fight any that oppose their traditions. Satan uses their disobedience to kill, steal and destroy. Amen
Only by the power, the strengthening of and by the Holy Spirit can we take our place in the battle lines against the adversary. This is serious friends.

I shout friends, shout with joy that the Holy Spirit of God came and convicted me outside of any church or denomination. Then Jesus baptized me in his Holy Spirit and gave me the gift of speaking in tongues (prayer in the spirit for personal building up as in Jude vs.
It's only been in the past few years that the Holy God we serve has pressed down on me regarding men worshipping their own creations rather than him. When others ask you about your "religion" they are expecting to hear the name of a denomination, sect, group or doctrine.
It's astounding that they will follow the doctrines of a denomination rather than God. They bow themselves before their need to be accepted by others and dismiss the cry of God to follow him and his words alone. For;
Deuteronomy 5:7 KJVS
Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
Choose this day whom you will serve. As for me and my house we shall serve the most High God. We have received the fullness of the Holy Spirit and are thus empowered to turn aside the treacherous machinations of attrition as we are shown them by our Lord. I implore you for your good to draw as near to God as you can get. Unless you are close how can you abide under the safety of his wings? If you abide under the shadow of the Almighty the adversary will not dare approach.
Psalm 91:4 KJVS
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Do not let the grinding away by constant pressure take you down. Your very life and the lives of your family depend on being able to receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit of God. It's the anointing alone that defeats attrition. Anointing or failure by means of evil attrition. It's our choice. Amen
