If you have not yet experienced The Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan... you are missing out!
It was written mostly during His imprisonment because of the Gospel. It is an Allegory of Salvation and core Christian Doctrine, but not complex. Like when the main character "Christian" meets an ignorant person his name is "Ignorance". It is mostly dialogue explaining the Gospel and Doctrines. It is such an enjoyable way of learning and better understanding the way of Salvation.
Now if you don't to spend the bucks on a copy here is a few hints:
It is in the public domain so you can
1. Download the full text version as a .txt file or a PDF from a number of internet archive sites. For Free!
2. You can also download the complete audio recording (actual voice) from a particular site that allows you to download as a zip file so it is easy to just extract all the chapters and throw them on an mp3 player or cd. Also For Free!
