My brothers and sisters in Christ.This is my version of this,I truly believe our Lord Jesus shows his Word, in the light each of has in it.So in my part, that I hold to as truth, do I share with you all. (Isaiah 64:8) Also found in Jeremiah 18:1-11 and in many other scriptures.But I am not speaking in judgement of any,I'm speaking on what, and who our Potter is,and what we his clay, he can build from his loving hands!
Let us first look at Isaiah 64:8"But now O Lord, YOU are our Father,We are the clay,and YOU our potter; And all of us the work of YOUR hand." What I have found most true in the world today, is the more Jesus is preached among the nations,the more some peoples heart are still hardened to it.( Isaiah 6:9-10)( Matt 13:14-15)
And Jesus began to teach them again by the sea.( mark 4:1-34) A man or woman, is given truth,that is the seed of God in them, after one receives the truth,which looks to set each of us free in our Jesus( john 8:31-32)The Potter Jesus, is this truth,and from Jesus his very nature of love is reveled unto us all.( john 3:16)( John 15:11-17)
Now we have the truth,our seed,where do we plant this seed? Some have planted this seed beside a road,where birds come and ate it all up. others have planted this seed on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth in soil. And after the sun had risen, it was scorched,and because it had no root, it withered away.
Other seed fell among th thorns, and the thorns came up and choked it,and it yielded no crop.Do you see something here brothers and sisters? After we receive Jesus, we do have to be careful where we plant Jesus! verse 8 where I hope most of us have planted! Now the meaning given to us! verse 15
Here by the road,the enemy is waiting,to do what his nature is, to steal!( john 10:10) verse 16 are those who have received the truth with great joy,but because they do not take care of what truth they now have,which is to stay in the Word, and prayer,and learn more,they to suffer loss.Tough times,an unkind word spoken against you,pressure you did not expect from your new found truth.( James 1:22)
Still others now get a better job,and things are working so well in there life,that they forget the truth they once had,they have no need for this truth anymore,they came to recive this during hard times,and now that things are going so well for them,well they have no need further for it, so they toss Jesus aside,until they need him once again!Verse 19.
Then where I hope most of us are!! RIGHT HERE!! verse 20! You bear fruit,some more then others,but the point here is that you are bearing!! With the great hope,of bearing even more! So how can we be, or stay more in the good soil? How can we make sure we plant our Jesus where he will grow more in us? Now the hard part!!
I will use myself as such an example.When I received Jesus the very first time in my life,I was as the seed, that was sown on rocky ground,when tough times came unto me,I did what the disciples did. I fled!( matt 26:56) The person who brought me to the door, to where Jesus was knocking,showed me the door,and as I opened it,I did something terrible!! i looked back!!( gen 19:26)
And when I did this I to turned into a pillar of salt! For 8 long years I was frozen this way!! Then Jesus found me,he found me himself,he was looking for his lost sheep,me? Jesus loved me so much,he went out to look for me yet again!! WHAT LOVE!! When Jesus found me,he led me to the door this time,he said mark open the door,and do not look back,you will return, after you seed,is firmly rooted in me,but you have things you must do,before you return unto me through the very same door! NOW GO!
I opened the door,I did not look back,out of fear!! hehe I walked out,and saw a very large cross! On this cross my name was at the top of it! MARK, below the cross these words written!!( Matt 16:24-28)just like it is here! You see brothers and sister,it was not enough to recieve the nature of our Jesus,I had to act, and live this as well!!OH DEAR!!
But I learned something so important!! I had to find good soil! Soil that like most of you,would grow,and continue to grow! I had to die,in order for Jesus to live BIG in me! I had to face some very tough facts!!
Is Jesus more important then me and my life??Or is my life worth more to me without him? Well I lived enough of my life without him,so for me it was not to tough of a choice,but what is so very hard,is to live it! STILL IS!!
GRACE is the transparent willingness to be who we are before God,and before others as well. We make mistakes,but we can be perfect in one area of our life!! Through Jesus only of course!! LOVE!( 1 John 4:17-21!!) love, through grace,because we are willing!!
And by staying willing!! The potter Jesus,can be allowed to mold us into his very own nature!! That is love! Pure,no fear,peace!!this peace ( John 14:27) We have a friend!! His name is Jesus!! Let him show you what it truly means to be his friend!! You will not be disappointed!!
In doing this, you as a working part of the Body of Christ,can help rebuild others,who perhaps like me,put down seed in the wrong places. But Jesus forgives,that is what love does!( 1 Peter 4:8-10!!) LOVE ACTS!! and so do we in our Potters very nature!! Praise the Lord! Blessing all!
