...at least according to the following video. After having sought and obtained Chads permission, I provide here a video of a convocation of charismatic and Pentecostal leaders from throughout the USA under the auspices of Kenneth Copeland Ministries. Key speaker is Bishop Tony Palmer, who introduces to the gathering an address from the Pope calling for a formal union of evangelical Christianity with Rome along the same lines as that between the Lutherans and the Methodists. According to Palmer, Protestantism is finished. The Pope, claiming the entire reformation was a "misunderstanding" on both sides, now claims that the way is now open for seperated '
brothers and sisters' in Christ to unite once again as in former years.
I am keenly interested in your opinion on this matter. I introduced the topic in the prophecy and ;last-days forum, but Chad suggested that here was more appropriate, so ....what do you think? Is the reformation finished? Has Rome changed as much as Palmer and the agreeable Copeland would have us believe and therefore no logical reason for division?
If you haven't yet viewed this video, please take the time to do so now. Some of the church leaders at this meeting may represent you! Do you agree with their applauding and cheering at the end? Do you agree with Copeland that this invitation from the Pope was a miracle from God?
