God has a big problem that He wants us to help Him solve. The problem is that Satan and his evil angels have some right to be in heaven and they keep coming to God’s throne to accuse His people day and night (Job 1:6, 2:1, Zech 3:1).

In this section we will see how we can help God solve this problem by being an overcomer. In His wisdom God has linked the rapture of overcoming believers to the cleansing of heaven and the coming of the kingdom.

Jesus has a special task for those believers who overcome, who keep his works unto the end:
Rev 2:26-27 26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
Matt 28:20 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

These believers will be raptured up to God and his throne (in Heaven):
Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

To be raptured up to God's throne means to be located in a place where God rules and reigns - because He wants us to reign with Him!

Now notice what is the immediate effect of this rapture on Heaven:
Rev 12:7-8 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

Do we realize that when the overcoming believers are raptured up to Heaven, there is no more room for the devil. We are raptured not just for our sake, but also so that Satan can be booted out of heaven for good!

After the rapture, the devil will be thrown out and cast downL
Rev 12:9 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Rapture is not only for us, but for God to “clean Heaven”.

But Satan is still not yet locked up forever and ever, his being thrown down to the earth has a very negative effect on the earth:
Rev 12:10-12
10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

When Satan is cast down to the earth, that is when the tribulation period begins.

As a side note: When does this rapture of the overcomers take place? It takes place BEFORE the tribulation starts, before satan is cast down.

In fact, it is the rapture of believers that is the cause of Satan and his angels being thrown out of heaven, the start of the tribulation period, and then the coming of Christ’s kingdom, the restored house of David on the earth.

We should note that none of this can happen unless we live for God day by day and moment by moment, and overcome. As the saying goes, something like, “we cannot rule the nations from heaven, unless we have first learnt to rule (our own lives) on Earth”. Why should God allow mere children to rule nations if they themselves cannot rule their own lives and their own families? If we do not overcome, we won’t be raptured to heaven, and will be left on earth to participate in the tribulation period. To speak plainly, it may be only as few as 10 people who are raptured, it may not be many.
To use the Israelites as an analogy, all of the Israelites left Egypt, but few of them entered the Promised Land. This is the mistake many Christians make. They leave Egypt (their sins, past life etc) but they don't do what it necessary to enter the promised Land, they don't go on with the Lord and follow Him to the end. Not even Moses, as important as he was, made it. Let this be as a warning to us, to not be too complacent and to try our best, and not take being raptured for granted, but be prepared to enter tribulation as well. Perhaps many of us desire to be great like Moses, to escape from sin and bondage and work great miracles like parting the sea or striking the rock, however Moses did not enter the promised land. Instead, we should aspire to be like Joshua and Caleb, who wholly followed God (Joshua 14:8)

If we are self-centred, we will only be concerned for our own safety and making it to the rapture and escaping tribulation. I think 99% of Christian teaching about the rapture is about its timing and "who gets to get to Heaven before the bad stuff happens". But our God-centred motive should be so that God can boot Satan out of heaven, and bring His Kingdom to Earth. Amen.

This is a pretty good post. It explains a few things I have had a hard time putting into words.

Some people take John 19:30; to mean "everything" is finished. But what it really means is Christ's work on the cross so that we can receive salvation is finished.
Some of the other things have not happened yet.

Acts 2:34; "For it was not David who ascended into heaven, but he himself says: 'THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD, "SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND,
Acts 2:35; UNTIL I MAKE YOUR ENEMIES A FOOTSTOOL FOR YOUR FEET."'
Acts 2:36; "Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both Lord and Christ--this Jesus whom you crucified."

Until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet... this hasn't completely happened yet.

Acts 3:20; and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you,
Acts 3:21; whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.

This period of restoration hasn't completely happened yet.

1 Cor 15:24; then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power.
1 Cor 15:25; For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.
1 Cor 15:26; The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
1 Cor 15:27; For HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET. But when He says, "All things are put in subjection," it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him.
1 Cor 15:28; When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all.

After Jesus restores everything and satan's army is defeated and he is thrown into the lake of fire, Jesus hands "the kingdom" over to the father.
The current "kingdom" has both wheat and tares, it has both good fish and bad fish, it has both trees that bear good fruit and bad fruit, it has both wise virgins and foolish virgins.
Even satan was allowed to visit heaven after he was cast out. ( Job 1:6-7; )

Some say this is the difference between the kingdom of heaven, and the kingdom of God.
I agree that the saints will not go through "at least all" of the tribulation.

Rev 18:4; I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues;
I personally believe the tribulation will bring the greatest number of saved souls since creation. Some people will have hardened hearts.
( Rev 9:20-21; Rev 16:9-11; ) but some will get saved during the tribulation. ( Rev 7:13-16; )
I think there are people who know the bible, and they can even quote verses about the seven trumpets and the seven seals and the seven woes.
But they don't believe any of it. Obviously it will be hard not to believe it when it is happening right before their very eyes. Some view the tribulation as the wrath of God,
and perhaps in a way it is, but it's also the love of God in the sense that he gives those on the fence a last chance to turn to him.

Col 2:15; When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.

Satan is defeated, but he hasn't given up yet. He is trying to drag as many down with him as he can.

Yes all things in the New Testament point to the Kingdom. Jesus asked us to pray first and foremost for the Kingdom to come and His will to be done.
All authority has been given to Christ (Matt 28:18), Christ is on the throne. But mankind has not submitted and the devil and his angels are still opposing God's authority on the Earth. Jesus is the King but is not able to reign as the King as long as rebellious mankind, satan and angels are roaming the earth and heaven. We should view the tribulation as the way for God to prepare the Earth for the coming of the Kingdom.

John 3:17,18,19,20
Luke 11:31
Revelation 12:1-4
There is a woman that is coming forth in Spirit and in Truth. He is in her, she is in Him; and we go unto the Father. Amem
And a great wonder was found in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun (light), and the moon under her feet (darkness(, and she wore a crown of twelve stars upon her head (disciples, that follow with her, because they believe that she is come out from God and is sent forth by God. She is coming forth in Him to gather together the bride; the true church.
The devil will make war with her, rising up against her, speaking evil of her, and casting her name out as the devil. (Just like they did Jesus).
She has eaten of His flesh, and she shall drink of His cup. She will die the death; for His names sake. There will be no power after the second death.
Many will be saved at her preaching; hence, travailing in pain to be delivered (the testimony of Jesus Christ in which she carries).
The devil with make war with her seed. She come out from God planting the seed in which has been given her, reserved of the Lord until the day of harvest. Those that follow with her IN HIM; will be at war with the devil. This is the tribulation days. The devil will fight against God's remnant; for the Lord has prepared unto Himself a people unto the day that is to come.
She is rising; she is coming forth at a time appointed of the Lord; her delivery is standing on the top of the steps with the Lord. He is coming forth in her to do a short work.
When "unbelieving believers" kill her; the Lord, my God, will raise her up. This entire world will tremble in fear, they shall try to hide their face from Him, who will send His wrath upon this earth; because of their disbelief and they have killed yet again. They have killed another prophet, chosen of God, to carry the testimony of Jesus into all the world. Amen.
Yes, I know her; for she knows Him and is in Him; We are ONE. Amen.
Those who hear His voice coming forth through her; will be saved unto life everlasting; those who doubt and disbelieve unto condemnation everlasting.
Be careful how you judge; for ye shall be judged with the same judgment ye have judged.
The kingdom of heaven is at hand; the Lord has His fan in His hand separating the wheat from the chaff; separating His sheep from the goats.
Are you found written in the Lambs Book of Life?
He has a baptism to be baptized with; Have you been baptized by Him, for Him?
All praise, honor, glory and majesty be unto God, the Creator of ALL things. Amen.

God's devine judgement including " Christ in us" and the Devils defeat, occured through his power alone and from before the very foundations of the universe, all through his son actions and nothing of anything we could have ever done or will do. That includes our names in the Lamb's book from the very begining!

Many are called; but few are chosen.
There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
So picking up our cross and following Him; means nothing?
As Christ suffered for us, arm yourselves like wise; means nothing?
Yes, we have to do it too. We have been commanded to FOLLOW IN HIS STEPS; just as the apostles did, they died FOR HIM, and yes, we are to do.
To live is Christ; to die is gain.
Be ye doers of the Word, and not hearers only. Amen.
Faith without works is dead; as the body without the Spirit is dead.
Yes, we speak in FAITH and God does the WORKS; manifesting His Spirit and His glory. Amen.
Hum... Lord, will there be any faith found we you return. Who has believed our report.
ALL praise, honor, and glory be to God. Amen.
