'For the mystery of lawlessness is already working,
only he is now holding back until it comes out of the midst.
And then the lawless one will be revealed,
whom the Lord shall consume with the breath of His mouth
and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming,
whose coming is according to the working of Satan
with all power and signs and lying wonders,
and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those who perish,
because they did not receive the love of the truth,
so that they might be saved.'
(2 Thess. 2:7-10)

'Everyone who practices sin
also practices lawlessness,
for sin is lawlessness.'
(1 John 3:4)

Hello there,

Forgive me for being the bringer of doom and gloom, but I cannot help but remark on the rise in lawlessness. It is evident in the news that there is an increase in crime and lawlessness generally, and the police force does not seem equal to the task of dealing with it, and bringing perpetrators to justice.

Lawlessness, as the Scriptures tell us, is an indicator of the approach of the end of the age. Now, more than ever we need to be watchful and keep our eyes stayed upon our risen and glorified, Saviour, Lord and Head. For He is our life.

Within the love of Christ our Saviour.
Chris

Hello Complete,
The storm is coming and all the signs are there. I started writing a list of all the changes (including lawlessness) over the years and it got long quick. I've talked to prisoners and homeless about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and salvation over several years, but the bible is true, there eyes are blinded by the god of this world, ( 2 Corinthians 4:4 ), and had veiled faces (2 Corinthians 3:14).

Just think, 50 years ago, church pastors and deacons went to schools and preached the gospel to students and had assembly's in the gym where pastors came and preached and every morning school started in prayer. I was there and I know.

This isn't talking about man's laws. Man's laws allow abortion, homosexuality, etc... Do you think God cares if man disobeys these laws?
It's talking about God's laws. An increase in "crime"? No God is talking about an increase in sin.
